How to type accented characters in swift key?
RespondidaCan someone please help me here? i need to type long 'ā' accented uppercase character in swiftkey. I tried holding the 'A' for a while but that accented character is not present there.

Please go to settings > typing > typing & autocorrect > toggle on accented characters
I did that but the character i want is not there... it is essential for typing pinyin characters. the character i want to type is
ā
That one... above... an "a" with a long line above.
Pinyin is not a language but a method to type Chinese, if it's not there I would not be surprised.
But do try to download some other languages such as Spanish or French (the languages which need more accented characters).
I tried doing what you said... it didn't fix my problem... i have to switch between google keyboard and swiftkey when i have to work with chinese app for now.
The french layout doesn't have an "ā" character.
P.S.: French layout is missing an accented letter of the official alphabet : the Y-tréma = "ÿ" . Already opened two tickets with SwiftKey support and still not resolved.
