Hello, We would like to inform you that, Microsoft SwiftKey has 'Smart punctuation' feature, which helps you enable/disable the auto space after punctuation.  The "Smart Punctuation" is our new feature we recently launched in the SwiftKey Beta app and it is still under testing. If you would like to start trying this feature, please install the SwiftKey Beta app from the Google Play Store and try it out, and we would like to hear how you like it. (SwiftKey Beta app> Tap on 'Typing'> Scroll down 'Smart Punctuation').

    Thank you!

It can't be disabled, I was thinking of the spacebar double tap disable switch. It's becoming a bigger issue and biggest complaint in the last year & a half...

An option should be to disable auto space altogether. The current behavior makes using !bangs in DuckDuckgo annoying

2 years ago I started this thread. (I don't know why it lists me as a deleted user.)

There has STILL been no response. Microsoft bought swiftkey, but obviously doesn't care 2 bits about the app od its users.

I'm guessing that NONE of the user-requested features will ever be implemented.

That would be great, I've also been searching for it. Each time I write an email address I have to backspace after it's auto-inserted space following a period. I would prefer to use the spacebar when I actually want a space. It would be great if this was an option as I love using SwiftKey
