    Yes, I can confirm that I also have this issue on  Nokia 7 plus after the August 18 update.

    The smallest keyboard layout setting is still too big,

    No issues on my wife's Nexus 5x after the Aug 18 update.

    downloaded a arm-v7a version of last update on apkmirror and the size is ok now. but in version arm64-v8a the size was too big yet

    I have a Nokia 7 Plus. I had the same issue. 

    It got fixed when I restarted my phone. Try that!

    I have similar issue. Samsung S10. I can't make the keyboard small enough. Even at it's smallest setting, it's bigger than the standard keyboard. On my previous Sony phone, the SwiftKey keyboard went much smaller. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, it didn't help.
