Themes have just about always been tied to accounts. When you sign into SwiftKey, you always had to sign in with Google, we have since added Microsoft.

This is nothing new. You can sign up and then turn the sync function off.

Our support platform is Zendesk, perhaps you created a Zendesk Account and used that photo.

Just bought a new phone and downloaded SwiftKey to use the same awesome keyboard I had on my old phone.  But I found out I must now sign in to my Google account through SwiftKey in order to access more than the 3 default keyboards.  Requiring a sign-in to Google through SwiftKey is just wrong.  Why does SwiftKey need access to my Google profile!!?  Uninstalling SwiftKey now.  Good bye, SwiftKey.

    Hi David,

The signing in part is to authenticate you. Since we don't have a generic username and password sign in, this is how you are recognized as a person and we can associate your SwiftKey Account with you as you move from device to device.
