Quotation mark glitch
I've had a glitch with swiftkey where often I'll type a word, hit space, type a first quotation mark to begin to type a quote, and it will add the quotation mark to the end of my last typed word instead of after the space I just typed, and then insert a space after the quotation mark. Basically acting as if Im finishing a quoted word/phrase and typing the second quotation mark when I'm actually beginning a quoted word/phrase and typing the first quotation mark. No matter how many times I try again it won't work correctly
So say I'm trying to type out:
I went to the store and was like "can I get a coffee"
One of these two things happen:
1. Type out I went to the coffee shop and was like+space+" > autocorrects to like+"+space > delete the space and quotation mark > try typing like+space+" again > autocorrects again > just deal with it and type out like" can I get a coffee > go back and delete the space before can > insert a space before like
Or, 2. Type out I went to the coffee shop and was like+space+" > autocorrects to like+"+space > delete the space and quotation mark > try typing like+space+" again > autocorrects to like+space+"+space > have to type out like " can I get a coffee > go back and delete the space before can
It doesn't happen every time, but I'd say 1 in 10 times, which is pretty annoying. Has been happening the whole time I've had swiftkey on ios (since Sept 2019), and happened before then when I had swiftkey for Android. I submitted a bug report months ago but nothing has been fixed :/
Not sure what to do here as I'd prefer to not take any troubleshooting steps that would result in swiftkey forgetting my hundreds of saved words
