I've been using Swiftkey on Android since they days when you had to pay for it. Recently my job forced me to switch over to an iphone. The difference between the 2 versions is tremendous. Autocorrect works a lot more poorly but the main gripe I have is that you can't hold down a letter key to get every accent mark associated with it. Is there a reason for this? I continue to still use swiftkey since I'm used to the punctuation placement, but just seems weird that it works so poorly in iOS

Sync & backup *all* pinned CLIPBOARD clips & keyword shortcuts for them (or at least: optional Import/Export as .txt or .xml) ACROSS phones!3 votos 4 comentarios
I use SwiftKey on multiple phones. Same login / account.
They should all be able to add new clips but also have ability to SEE clips added from different phones (same SwiftKey user!)
I'm speaking about - SYNC.
Our clipboards clips AREN'T BACKED UP AND SYNCED.
I have so many of them set-up. Do u know how much TIME I have spent setting Pinned clipboard clips and shortcuts up, just to lose them all? :(
Please, SwiftKey team, SYNC them.
Or at least, give option to export and import! (XML, TXT, whatever - as long as Import exists, too!)
I lose so much of my hard work because you DON'T backup/sync clipboard content and pinned items and shortcuts ACROSS PHONES, when SwiftKey account is the same...
I once lost my phone and bought another, enabled SwiftKey and NONE OF MY CLIPS were saved. :((((Such a big disappointment!
Please give this HIGH priority, PLEASE.
Kindest regards, Helen
PS. Do you, other fellow SwiftKey users, agree that there should be Backup & Sync (and/or Import / Export) of our Clipboard's clips?
Pinned ones, especially!
Possible keyboard size bug after v2.7.1 upgrade: Completada2 votos 5 comentarios
I just upgraded to v 2.7.1 on my iPhone 5c. This resulted in the SwiftKey keyboard not filling the full width of the screen. (see screen shot below - note the gray region on the left/right edge of the keyboard).
Is it possible to fix this bug in the next release?
[Privacy Concern] SwiftKey accessing passwords and other clipboard data0 votos 2 comentarios
I noticed a couple notifications in iOS 14 about SwiftKey accessing my clipboard that I can't comprehend. It appears to happen sometimes after beginning to edit a textfield in a 3rd party app but also apparently randomly while browsing 3rd party apps.
I find this especially concerning when it happens after copying a password in a password manager. But also in other contexts it should be comprehensible ofc.
Why does this happen?
Clipboard setting inaccessible in settings Respondida0 votos 2 comentariosIn ios 14.01 on iPhone 11 pro going to the SwiftKey settings in the settings app - the view automatically scrolls down hiding the clipboard setting. I've tried using two fingers to hold it down or to pull it down and catch it in the latter part of the rubber band effect. But no dice. I think this is a big of some sort. I hope it's not more nefarious where they're trying to hide the settings.
SwiftKey on iOS iPad adding periods if pause during voice to text0 votos 0 comentariosSwiftKey on iOS iPad adding periods if pause during voice to text. When hitting the microphone button on SwiftKey keyboard on iPad I noticed that if I do not speak quickly that a period will automatically be added where I don't want it. If I use stock iPad keyboard it works fine. Any thoughts on SwiftKey? Was using iMessages. Thanks Peter
SwiftKey app opens during voice to text2 votos 0 comentarios
Every time I use voice to text on any iOS app, SwiftKey's app opens itself and stays open. It is quite annoying.
Decimal pad not respecting regional setting for comma/dot1 voto 1 comentario
For the iOS version 2.8.2 of Swiftkey, it seems that the numeric keypad dot not respect the comma/dot regonal setting of the iOS device, and always shows the dot, even if the language/regional setting of the iOS device specifies a comma as decimal separator. I can long hold the dot to get the comma, but I would like the same option as on the native IOS, that the regional setting defines what the first option is.
Feature Requests for iOS - Make SwiftKey as Great as on Android!15 votos 5 comentarios
Hi Swiftkey Team,
i just switched from Android to iOS and the iOS Stock Keyboard is horrible. I've been using Swiftkey for years (also bought it long time ago) and the usability on Android is awesome :)
When i decided to switch to iOS I was glad to know that swiftkey is available for iOS as well. Sadly the User Experience on iOS is very poor in comparison to your Android Version.
If you could implement the following things, it would make the user experience a lot better:
- Special Characters as second Option for normal characters (best would be the same order as on android)
- seperate comma key
- enhanced QWERTZ Layout with dedicated umlaut keys (öäü)
- Adjustment of longpress duration
- 3D Touch for removel of whole words
- cursor selection through long press on space key
And I would REALLY Love to have the "Classic Dark" Theme back. I found it very helpfull that not every key has its own border, but the keyboard layout is kind of rastered.
Please think about the mentioned things. I am sure many people would love it!
Thank you and Greetings from Germany,
Voice to text auto punctuation issue0 votos 2 comentarios
I'm running into a weird issue with SwiftKey voice to text on iOS (version 2.8): every time i pause momentarily it adds a period '.' as though it think i finished a sentence. I speak pretty quickly and my paragraphs are just filled with short sentences and periods. It also occasionally puts up question marks when its not a question. Has anyone encountered this? Is there a way i can disable auto punctuation on voice to text?

Where does SwiftKey learn its dictionary from?0 votos 0 comentariosI just tried to type the word yesterday via gesture and it came out as UTStarcom. Now I have never typed that word in my life, it is not in the English dictionary, and its Wikipedia entry is only like 2 paragraphs long. Where did this come from??? Is there a way to get rid of these types of autocorrects?
Chinese in iOS4 votos 0 comentarios
I'm learning Chinese and Russian and was very happy with the SwiftKey keyboard on my Android phone as I could easily switch between the two keyboards and found them much easier to use than the native keyboard. However, since moving to an iPhone, I'm really disappointed to find that Chinese is not available in the iOS version of SwiftKey. Is there any reason for this?? Are the plans to enable it??
Many thanks for a Swift response.
Cursor Control Almost Never Activates-1 votos 0 comentarios
Hi, long-time Android Swiftkey user that switched to iPhone a year ago (11 Pro Max). Was thrilled when cursor control was added in, but ever since the addition, I've never gotten it to activate predictably. If I hold spacebar before typing any text, it activates properly. If I type a few characters, probably all good. But usually once I enter a word or two, a long-press does nothing. Haven't been able to find any info online about this, and none of the recent patches have changed anything. Any suggestions?
PS: I only have 1 language selected, and I have reinstalled multiple times.
Update: Upon further experimenting, it seems that hitting backspace before holding spacebar always makes it work. Hmm...
[Feature request] Armenian keyboard support in iOS and keyboard layout options for Armenian language in Android2 votos 2 comentarios
Swiftkey, while being a superb app (using both on iOS and Android), does not support my native Armenian on iOS and the keyboard layout options on Android are quite limited.
The major keyboard layouts for Armenian language are Armenian Eastern, Armenian Western and Armenian Phonetic.
Armenian Eastern (used by people in Republic of Armenia):
Armenian Western (used by people in Armenian diaspora):
Armenian Phonetic (used by people lacking computer skills and migrating from the old KDWin software for Windows PC):
I would be very thankful if you implemented these options in the iOS and Android versions of the app. Thank you in advance.

BÉPO, please BÉPO0 votos 0 comentarios
Why the IOs version is so below the Android version ???
I NEED the BÉPO layout. It is my keyboard since so many years, Azerty has become a no-brainier for me.
I very happily use Swifkey on android since 2012 and now that I have the newest Ipad pro, I have to switch to en expansive low quality app in order to have my good ergonomic, scientifically engineered layout.
How difficult could it be to add it on the IOs version ?
Thank you very much for considering it.
Support for Curved Keyboards4 votos 2 comentarios
Given that WordFlow has now been shut down in favor of SwiftKey. It would be nice to have the curved keyboard option available in SwiftKey for one handed (right or left) operation.
Thanks for considering this feature!
Punctuation key0 votos 1 comentario
I have swiftkey version 2.7.8 on iPhone (ios 13.5) and ipad (ipados 13.5).
On iPhone the layout features a multipurpose punctuation key to the right of the space bar, which I find very useful. On the ipad this position is given to a second key to switch to numeric keyboard, which I do not need. How can I get the multipurpose punctuation key on ipad?
Haptic Feedback4 votos 4 comentarios
I don't understand how to enable Haptic feedback in SwiftKey. The support article says
Opening the emoji panel, long-pressing the emoji/globe key,
and activating the 'emoji bomb' will all trigger small vibrations.
But i don't see an "Emoji Bomb" in the emoji panel.
I am using an iPhone 8 with iOS 11
Support for german language and layout1 voto 1 comentario
I realy like SwiftKey.
It is one of the best.
I am not always typing in english somewhere on the internet, i also write texts. In german.
And for german. SwiftKey right out sucks.
It is the worst thing i ever saw.
1) It has not german layout at all.
Your popover selection window is ... horrible ... compared to real keys.
Let me show:
This is from the Apple keyboard.
But your's simply refuses to offer the proper keys!
Can you please finally fix this?
2) As a crude workaround, you offer some horribly popover menu
Now, this can only be a workaround, it is not usable for someone writing in german!
But anyway, this thing is wrongly configured for German!
If you hover over an "a" you get the pop-up, but the next key up is again the "a"!
The "ä" which you are searching for is far to the right, you need to search it in a long list.
The fix is easy: Just set the "ä" as the first character shown above your finger, when you long press!
Cannot understand why this is still not fixed.
But please don't forget: The popover is only a workaround. We still need a proper german layout as shown above!
iOS 13.4.1 SwiftKey Flow not working after iPhone migration0 votos 0 comentarios
I've bought new iPhone SE 2. I've made synchronisation from old iPhone SE (iOS 12.4) to new iPhone SE 2 (iOS 13.4.1). SwiftKey has been automatically installed with full access and SwiftKey Flow turned on (done automatically via iOS synchronisation). When I've tried to write some word in any type of application with SwiftKey set as primary keyboard, the SwiftKey Flow seemed to have problems with gesture recognition and keyboard was shaking all the time like it can't figure out words.
Only fix that I've been able to come up was to uninstall manually SwiftKey and install from App Store and set access rights in the settings again.
