Just like you are able to set the sensitivity of clicking buttons in milli seconds, it used to also be possible to configure the distance / sensitivity of the backspace gesture.
I can't find that configuration anymore, was it removed?

Noooo Facebook support for gifs from this app! Only two options are "add to profile" and "new post"! Why no ability to add to a post?!?
Hi
After today update to version 6.5.8.26 there is a small glitch with free space near predictions. Look at this
Now:
Before update:
I downloaded and tried a few themes. I would like to have my favorite themes listed in the "YOURS" tab. However, all the themes I have tried are listed there which makes it very confusing.
Is there a way to remove the unwanted theme in the "YOURS" tab? I have seen in other post that I should uninstall Swiftkey and re-install again. This is not a convenient solution because this will still list all the junk themes from the premium pack and alll free thems I got under my account before the themes were free.
If there is no way, may I suggest a feature?
1) Rename the tab name from "YOURS" to Favorite
2) Add an option to remove a them from the Favorite section.
Thanks in advance
Greetings,
I've recently switched to Swiftkey because I'm having some problems with Gboard. The one major thing I miss from that, however, is its wonderfully simple and intuitive 'gesture delete' function. You should really, REALLY check it out to see why it's so much better than just pressing and holding the del key and hoping you can release it in time to avoid deleting more than you wanted to. This is particularly important on a system like Android that doesn't offer any ctrl-z type undo options. All you do is swipe left off the del key until the text you want to delete is highlighted, then release to perform the delete. If you swipe too far you just have to slide back towards the del key a bit first. Simple!
I also find it mightily frustrating that the last word entered by flow typing can't be deleted with a single tap on the del key. That's how every other 'swipe' type keyboard app I've tried works and it seems pretty obvious to me it's how it should be. I realize this has been asked before and rejected, but I'd urge you to reconsider and at least make it an option.
Hello - Within the last couple of updates of the Swiftkey Beta app, underlined text has begun appearing in the predictions bar at times while I'm typing. I just switched back to the Swiftkey app and this underline does not appear ever so it doesn't appear to be a system-wide phone issue. What is this underline? I find this incredibly annoying, especially because there doesn't appear to be any discernible use for it. I just typed 'Is' and it was underlined. If this is going to be added to the regular app going forward, could we also get an option to turn it off? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
How do you make a line break
Is it possible to have SwiftKey *not* remove the preceding space when an underscore is being inserted?
This issue (along with a few others) was raised as far as December 2014. Unfortunately, it hasn't received attention from the developers.
It's rather frustrating having to go back through typed text to correct things from
"It_should_ be fixed immediately" to "it _should_ be fixed immediately".
Ordinarily it wouldn't be a problem if you could simply backspace and correct it. However, fixing this 'typo' requires a careful placement of the caret (which isn't at all easy) then inserting a space and then moving to the end of the line to continue with the text.
This slows text input especially when writing formatted text on WhatsApp and Telegram, both of which use the underscore for formatting.
Neural network only seems to work for predictions? Not autocorrect? Is this accurate? If so, why not enable it for both? Thanks.
I just changed my phone from Huawei to Samsung, where Huawei got preinstalled Swiftkey. I wanted now to change Samsung's default keyboard with Swiftkey so I downloaded it from Google Play. I changed my default keyboard for it in phone settings and everything seems to work fine but Swiftkey keeps showing me notifications (in taskbar and as toast notification) about full functionality of Swiftkey will be after finishing the installation process.
Just that. The keyboard has the Y Low-left.
This is a problem
I am using Samsung j7prime model. I had turned off touchpad sounds from settings but while using swift keyboard touch pad sounds is still on which is very much irritating.
Swiftkey Beta v6.7.7.18 has a new top bar instead of the old swipe menu but is not themed correctly. Only happens with custom themes.
Hi all. I've been using SwiftKey for a veeery long time and it's amazing. I really liked the voice integration but a while back I started to get away from Google products (yes, Android is from Google but you can strip quite a lot of their stuff from it) and I (sadly) discovered that after removing Google Search app the voice dictation stopped working.
SwiftKey is now owned by Microsoft and MS has it's own voice recognition. There is also a Common Voice project from Mozilla (https://voice.mozilla.org/) which should be more open/transparent (though they are only collecting data / training for now).
tl,dr;
Having alternative voice input would be awesome!
(Sorry for reposting this, since the last post was closed for further comments and I couldn't reply)
This is not an Android issue - see two screenshots below, one with GBoard, one with SwiftKey - both of them work fine for the first language (English), but for the second language (Hebrew), SwiftKey shows all words as misspelled. For GBoard, I also added a misspelled word at the end of the Hebrew text, just to show that the spell checker does work there.
The solution @Alpert referred me to here (below), turns off spell check entirely, which is not something I'm looking for - I do want it, but I want it to work properly.

Original post:
For some reason, SwiftKey Android shows red underlines under *all* words in my second language (Hebrew), like they're all misspelled. It does work fine for the first language (=English).
This issue doesn't happen when I switch to another keyboard.
Is there a way to to automatically save the clips on clipboard? The clips get deleted after 1 hour but I don't want them to be deleted. I know pining them will solve the problem but I want a permanent solution so that my copied items can stay in clipboard forever without needing to pin them individually.
how to uninstall swift key keyboard
I would like to able to turn off the trail in the flow feature. The trail that follows my finger from one key to the next, at least for me blocks the vision of the keyboard. I've used another keyboard that allows me to turn off the trail. I don't use that other keyboard because SwiftKey is better overall. I think it is best out there.
If it was deleted, can I know the cause of this action? I am not trying to dispute, I am interested in feedback.
I'm not that sure if I've got the right place to make suggestions, but I have an idea for SwiftKey.
I've recently seen on a Huawei mobile someone using the default keyboard like this:
It was swiping from the Swipe button (Bottom-left. It's second function was to go to settings) to the letter A and all the text was getting selected, just like a Ctrl+A on the PC.
Swipe button + X was cutting the text. Swiping from the Swipe Button to D was opening Google searching the selected text. + C was copying, +V pasting the text.
And these are only a few of the cool features it has. It would be nice if we would have them, as the Huawei keyboard still has problems on other things like the dictionary for some language & things.
And by the way, thank you for SwiftKey, the fastest keyboard on the market. :D
Didn't know until recently that the three lines on the keyboard gave you access to the clipboard. Well, the first time I found it, all of my clips were there. After going back to the keyboard, I tried it again, this time hoping to paste something. But when I went to the clipboard the second time, all of my clips were gone!
I thought maybe the keyboard was just acting up, but when I went through the actually SwiftKey app, all of my clips were missing from there as well!
What the heck happened? Can I get them back?
*I didn't download anything or do a phone or app update of any kind before this happened.*
Hello,
I am trying to download the Magnetite theme, but it won't let me. It gives me the "Your theme could not be downloaded, please try again later" error.
I get the same error when trying to download other themes too.
I am using the latest version currently available in the Play Store (6.5.8.26). I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but I get the same result.
My phone is running Android 7.1.2.
The QWERTY keyboard disappeared, why?
Is there a tab key
Samsung Galaxy Note Five reverts back to Samsung keyboard each morning when I turn phone on each morning. How do I stop this?
Hey first of all this is the best keyboard available in the store. I have been using this since 2 years that's almost when I started using Android technology.
Now secondly, I have a suggestion for track button. It is very difficult to move the cursor by one or two character. And if the phone has small screen then it is quiet impossible to move the cursor by 1-2 characters. Recently while using an app known as "Mobile C" which have it's own keyboard, I came across a great feature of track button. This made it quite easy to move the cursor for short distance. It would be cool if you consider to add this feature in your product too. It's quite useful. Now I know that our keyboard has navigational buttons. But it makes the keyboard look big and occupy more than half of the screen. So please consider my suggestion.
Hi, it seems my keyboard will not open for some odd reason, I've rebooted my phone several times, and nothing seems to be working, I'm using the Google keyboard for the time being. Whenever I try opening the Swiftkey keyboard, nothing happens. I hope someone can help me with this, thanks!
Android - 7.1.1 - Nexus 5x
Swiftkey - 6.5.5.30
Issue description:
Long pressing/holding delete or swiping to delete will only delete 1 letter/digit at a time within wechat. This is only happening within the wechat application, and no where else.
Information regarding the issue:
There is already a post here with all relevant information:
https://vip.swiftkey.com/index.php?/topic/17156-wechat-long-press-backspace-doesnt-delete-whole-word-in-english-needs-more-info/
Short version is that, in order to fix a minor bug where users had to click 4 times to delete an emoji, this new issue was introduced. This new issue is far worse than the bug they were fixing...
Despite this being a 'known issue' it still hasn't been addressed in any of the recent updates.
Can this please get fixed, I just got a new nexus 5x and am experiencing this problem, I don't want to have to install an old version of swiftkey so that I can type/delete properly in wechat (which I use all the time).
Cheers,
