After going crazy, I decided to get on the phone with Samsung Support.  I was on hold maybe 2 minutes.  The tech walked me through some simple steps and POOF! problem resolved.  All I had to do was clear the cache and data from message app and also my camera which was crashing as a result of last update.  Hopes this helps.

I am experiencing some issues with SwiftKey beta on Android O beta. Both are up to date but the issue isn't new.

When I am playing a video either on MX Player, VLC or YouTube, I use the space bar of my Pixel C's physical keyboard to pause it. It does work. However, even after resuming the video (again using the space bar), the status bar and the navigation bar stay visible. On the navigation bar, the back button is turned to the bottom, meaning it detects an active keyboard.
If I press the back button, both bar disappear.

I have tried other keyboards (Godard and SwiftKey stable) and the issue isn't present in those case. The issue might have started when I upgraded to Android O beta but I'm not quite sure.

Could you please fix this issue? It is quite annoying because I watch videos every day on this device and always use the space bar as a pause/resume button.

When I am typing, SwiftKey shows popup highlights above the keys as I type, but it does not highlight the actual key I have pressed. How can I make SwiftKey highlight the keys I have pressed?

 As many of the other users I paid for this app and new themes. Why removed.? And now you are saying we can download what's missing. They don't look all avaliable and we didn't move them. 

Not a happy camper. 

What happened to my fav theme (Dusk) in beta?!? I  download beta, but I don't use it bcz I like that theme. Pls add it or allow same themes as regular version

Hello sir. I have a problem regarding keyboard. I am using dictionary frequently. After searching single word, I lock my screen. But, when I come back to search another word, the keypad had gone down. Hence, I will have to touch the search-box of dictionary. Same thing with happens while using any other app as well for typing. The main issue is '' After Unlocking Screen the Keyboard Goes Down, unfortunately I will have to touch search box''

Please try to solve this problem as soon as possible.

In an effort to improve Chinese handwriting, we have decided to combine the handwriting model to work with the Chinese variants (China, Taiwan & Hong Kong), reducing the storage consumption.  

As part of this change, beta users who previously had installed Chinese handwriting will have a non-functioning handwriting layout until the entire Chinese language pack is disabled, deleted, reinstalled, and handwriting model re-downloaded. None of your language data will be lost in this process. Alternatively, you can just reinstall SwiftKey if maintaining your language data and settings is not important.  

You will have two ways of making sure you get the newest model 
 
(1) How to delete and redownload the model 

• Open SwiftKey Settings 
• Language 
• Toggle the language pack off 
• Long press to delete your current Chinese variant language model 
• Pull to refresh the language list 
• Redownload the variant(s) of your choice 
• Re-enable Chinse handwriting after the language pack has finished downloading 

(2) Reinstall SwiftKey 

• Just uninstall and reinstall SwiftKey 

Stock android has this feature, very useful

How about adding two more buttons:

1. A button in the right side of the prediction bar, mirroring settings button, which will open a list of more predicted words.
My reason: very often, especially in languages different from English, I got useless predictions until I almost finish writing the words.

2. Similar to other keyboards, a sliding button over the space bar for temporary selecting and locking the prediction language.
My reason: especially when writing in a different language, I keep receiving predictions in English or French, even after entering long texts in different other languages.

Obviously, these features can be useful or not for many other different reasons, so,... any opinions?...

When  I used google keyboard ,I defined lost of shortcuts in google personal dictionary 

But now that I switch to Swifkey, my shortscuts from google dictionary are not available anymore in the clipboard of Swifkey .

I have a problem with email typing 

SwiftKey e-mail prediction always puts a capital at the beginning, and mostly puts a space at the end. 

As e-mail entry is most likely case sensitive, and doesn't tolerate an added space, I have to correct it most of the time. (especially for login / pwd entry) 

To do this, I have to enter the following sequence (shortest I found):  [BS] [shift] [shift] [shift] [prediction] [BS]. 

Wouldn't there be an easiest solution? Couldn't e-mails be predicted without capital?

I would love to see Assyrian (Neo-Aramaic) language in this app i'm 100% sure all Assyrians around the world will use it for sure ... Like these letters. There's Syriac but not these letters.

Every single word I spell out while typing the word out at the same time. All my words I type starting today, they're all misspelled. It looks, feels & acts like it's messing with me & misspelling my words on purpose. I haven't a clue what could possibly be wrong. It takes me an average of 6 times back spacing & typing it over & over again. I'm sooo pissed now. After replying to my husbands texts to me this evening, by the 5th reply, it got a lot worse the words weren't even correcting themselves anymore with my spell checked. SwiftKey auto forced correct to Chinese character when I am typing with English language. I use pinyin for my Chinese language typing, but sometimes I want to just type the pinyin in ENGLISH LETTERS.

This issue will permanently occurring after adding Chinese language. Even disable auto correct and delete Chinese language does not solve.

Estou usando no SwiftKey no dispositivo Samsung... É o terceiro celular wue utilizo o aplicativo... Tenho notado wue depois de un tempo o aplicativo começa a apresentar problemas... Ji corretor ortográfico, na substituição de palavras e fica muito lento.. Depois de algumas investigações, reparei que nas atualizações do celular Samsung o método de entrada e teclado padrão são alterados.
Quando instalei o aplicativo, ficou só o SwiftKey como método padrão de entrada e teclado.. Depois da atualização do software da Samsung... Os dois teclados ficaram como padrão.... Isto deixou o aplicativo lento e com falhas.. E i que é pior... Muito difícil de excluir Samsung como padrão... E deixar sinebtei SwiftKey.. Ou seja.. Ten dois teclados rodando ai mesmo tempo... Samsung... Bull shit

It's been 10 weeks since bugs with the "light" theme were first reported by several users. A partial fix was encouraging but since then multiple requests have been completely ignored by SwiftKey Support and customers are now leaving out of frustration or resigned to working with a once excellent keyboard...

Dear SwiftKey staff,
In the latest 6.6.4.19 version the emojis in their specific keyboard are a lot bigger than they used to be.
I personally liked the previous option, so if you could please have an option to choose what size you want for them that would be amazing.
A "medium" option would also be great.

Seriously how hard is it to bring the option "none" or disable" to gesture mode?
I don't want to use any of them, neither flow nor movements. Bring that option for us please!

Disclaimer: After a recent update I was struggling with the missing autospace after flowed words. Given that this feature is now back, I have enabled it. So the comment below refers to this setup. If autospace is not enabled, then the issue doesn't present itself in quite the same way.

This problem was first described by Greg Aloe, post at 13.33 on 9 May 2017, on the forum thread about "Improved Flow (swipe) feature". Please comment if you have the same problem.

So here's the issue:

When I flow, often I'm trying to write one of three words that SwiftKey recognises. For example , say I want to write "flow". But "flow" is extremely similar to "follow". Swiftkey now just inserts whatever it recognizes, and the recognized word flashes or a split second up in the bar, but then disappears. The problem with that is that loads of times the recognized word in such problematic pairs or triplets of similar words is in fact the wrong one. This means that one then has to hit the back button (once one has realized that the wrong word was chosen) and correct. And likely one can't correct using flow, because then the same problem would just re-occur. So one has to tediously type out the word very carefully. 

In previous versions of SwiftKey, a selection of words would appear in the bar, say "flow" AND "follow", and another word. Then I was able to select the one I wanted, if the wrong one had been auto-recognized. 

This problem happens to me ALL THE TIME. It means that I'm super slow when using flow because I keep having to correct things (and switch from flow to typing). I think soon I will stop flowing altogether because it is just such a pain. But then obviously I can use a different keyboard -- which is sad, since I used to really love SwiftKey. 

The issue seems to be that SwiftKey developers have become too confident in their algorithm. There simply are some words that are too similar to distinguish when flowing. And in these instances, SwiftKey should present a choice in the bar, like it used to, rather than selecting one that is probably wrong.

Hi Swiftkey team.

I'm having lots of headaches when trying to log in via android. The mobile model is an Infinix Hot 4 Pro. Half of the log in screen is showed and it is impossible to access the account.

I tried changing the font size and other tweaks, but unfortunately they were useless. Please patch the way users log in into google accounts.

Can you provide a Windows Phone "classic" keyboard that emulates the keyboard found on Windows Phones? I really enjoy the keyboard on Windows phones and would like to use it on e.g. and Android phone.

The last few months, swiftkey does not syncronize the personalization data with Google account.
