Hi.
Would be great that once I connect phone to Bluetooth keyboard SwiftKey will hide. This function I have in anyKey keyboard and always when I connect to Bluetooth keyboard I need to switch to Anykey keyboard.
I can you add it?
Please allow the users to disable de automatic dictionary and predictions. I use your keyboard because by far is the smallest keyboard (judged by space taken on my screen) and I love it for that. Also keys are thicker and make it easier to type even tho they are shorter. But the prediction bar kills me, also underlining words and deleting the whole word while pressing backspace. Please implement the option and don't force me to go back to the stupid unnecesarily tall keyboards like google outputs today (and for the record, I chose the smallest height in google keyboard and I still find it way too tall, even on the screen of the P10 lite). "Predicted" thanks and I hope to see you answering my request. Honest regards.
how to disable autospace after :
it is very annoying, especially when being used to type out emoticons...

Android 8.1 on a Pixel 2 XL SwiftKey beta 6.7.6.19 In the Fitbit app, I type 145.8 and I get 1,458.
I have seen discussions and requests regarding the automatic space insertion after a period. I too wish there were options for automation insertion of characters. So I sent an email to Support and received their response.
On Jan 21, 7:28 PM PST I posted the following question/suggestion:
Is there a way to stop the automatic space after a period?
Most of the time I do not want a space following the period.
Perhaps an option in the settings area would help.

Hi there,
Thank you for contacting SwiftKey support!
At this time SwiftKey Keyboard does not support this feature.
We really appreciate your feedback and will certainly pass it along to our team.
Thanks for using SwiftKey!

I've had a hard time writing small kana character such as in words like パーティー
The only reason I can type that word is because the prediction brings it up correctly. It works as expected for characters such as フィ, but not for writing combinations that start with テ because they all turn into チ variants, who is not what I want.
i want to have full keyboard in persian and persian has 32 alphabet so some of alphabet are accessible via long click can i have all in keyboard without long click?

Often when selecting a suggested word SwiftKey will actually use the suggested word to the left or right of the one I select. What's going on?

I've been using Swype + Dragon for some years now. I noticed there are 100 times more downloads of Swiftkey so I decided to see what I might be missing.
The answer, as it turns out, is not much. There are differences, but they all are negatives for me. Chief amongst these is the inability to delete a freshly swiped word by pressing backspace without long holding. Seems like a small thing but it really adds up in terms of time + frustration.
Then there is the inability to turn off space following a period. Again, doesn't seem like a big deal, until you swipe a URL which absolutely cannot have spaces of any kind, but has at least a period or two.
Lastly, the usability deal breaker. SwiftKey trails are like fat ugly spray paint marks smeared across the keyboard. Swype offers tidy trails that don't distract or obscure.
I imagine all of these things could be fixed, but what does Swift offer that I don't already get in Swype? Nothing as far as I can tell.
One thing I get with Swype that I'm not getting with Swift is rapid adaptative learning. I absolutely refuse to grant total strangers like Swift access to my texts and emails even for Big Data purposes, even those that somehow might benefit me. I wouldn't allow Swype to do such things either, but then it's never asked me to. I got quality results from Swype almost immediately without them, and of course accuracy has improved over time as I would expect. Unfortunately I can't say the same for Swift, which regularly comes up with howlers as primary suggestions.
While we're on the issue of security. I want an option to create a unique logon. Swype offers that. Swift does not, so I had to provide my Google account. Not happy about that AT ALL. In retrospect, I wish I hadn't. Which means I wished I'd never tried Swift in the first place. Bad news for Swift!
So off Swift goes. I'll keep it in mind for the future, but ONLY if you let me create a unique account first. That's for sure, no matter what Swift manages to offer.

SwiftKey always suggests plural forms of words first like "bats" instead of "bat" or it will suggest the word with ing at the end like "touching" instead of "touch"! Usually the root word is nowhere to be found in the suggestions. This occurs constantly so it can not be that it learned all these words from me. Extremely frustrating!
SwiftKey will not learn new words! Perfect example ; it will not learn LOL with all caps! It always suggests it as Lol. I delete the suggestion then click on the all capital version but it still reverts to the lower case suggestion.
So far I have been through a dozen keyboards and then I stumbled upon this one 1⃣..... I will say it is outstanding an amazing keyboard 🎹 at its finest.... I have Xiaomi Mi Max 2 (Snap 625, 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM) and my mother has Huawei P10 (Kirin 960/Mali-G71 MP8, 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM), both Full HD.
The problem is keyboard drops framerate to around 10 fps when I press hamburger menu: video. On mother's phone same keyboard with same version works smooth as it should.
How to fix that problem? Keyboard works perfectly, but that lag annoys me.
Keyboard ver: 6.7.4.31
Can't use muted keys for accentuation on physical keyboards.
Also, I noticed some errors while typing, specially when using the space bar or punctuation/symbols (intermitten issue).
It doesn't matter how many times I remove the words "Obama" or "Clinton" from my auto corretion dictionary these words continue to appear with only the first letter being typed. I personally find this annoying especially when I am forced to type most of the word *Trump" which I use several times every day. What is up with this?
Settings option to Turn off auto spaces
So many users have complained about this auto-spacing issue that it surely must be becoming embarrassing to SwiftKey and for as good as SwiftKey has been in other areas, this one failure to address the problem is driving users right away from your products. For credibility of your name being ranked highly, you need to address this problem as soon as possible and it is entirely technically possible to code a fix right now and gain some loyalty back again.
This problem has been an ongoing issue for nearly 12-months now.

I am using SwiftKey Beta keyboard (Android) V6.7.2.14
I found that it inserts unicode 8203 character (Unicode Character 'ZERO WIDTH SPACE' (U+200B)) between word in Thai language
If I type "ลมปราณภูตอุดร", I will get "ลมปราณภูตอุดร" (in HTML escape format).
The text displays correctly but the problems are
1. If I use it as game id, my id cannot be found by my friends when they search for it but type it with different keyboard (not SwiftKey)
2. Some app doesn't accept that character, and return error. I found this problem in some Thai bank apps.
Add live message support for note 8. Maybe make it an option in settings to select if you have a note 8. I have used SwiftKey for many years and I can't now because its missing that feature. Thank you.

I have a Moto G5+ with 2GB of ram. Switfkey generally occupies <50MB, but after a few days of use it will hold onto at least 150MB+. Even switching to another keyboard and verifying that Switfkey is not resident in ram and leaving it off for a day, it will grab 150MB+ again when re-enabled. Only a reboot will bring it back down to >50MB which will then stay that way for a few days. Also when looking at Swiftkeys history, it will grab up to 500MB of ram. Why does a keyboard need that much? BTW, I have cleared it cache etc.
I know some will suggest, this in not a big deal, as Android deals with ram pretty well. But I start to notice apps I use regularly starting to reload again because Android is taking back the ram to use elsewhere. When I kill Swiftkey, things run smooth again.
