    Hello,
    Thanks for the feedback.
The voice typing is controlled by Google voice input, SwiftKey doesn't interact with it.

As for it happens when you're typing with SwiftKey, I am not sure why. But is it possible to record this issue?

    Details for the recording :
    • Use this app to record your screen.
    • Enable touch in the settings. (Android settings > developer options > show touches. Sometimes it's aka glove mode)
    • Upload to Google drive then share the link to here

In the meantime, please provide your :

    • SwiftKey version
    • Android version
    • Phone model
    Thanks
    Alpert

@Alpert you are incorrect about this being due to Google voice transcription. When I use Google's keyboard and voice transcription I don't have this problem. This is solely a SwiftKey problem. And it's been a problem for over two freaking years. If Google's keyboard wasn't such garbage I would drop SwiftKey in a heartbeat. The only reason I don't is because it's one step above Google's keyboard. The fact that they haven't been able to fix this bug in over 2 years says some serious problems about SwiftKey. Also it became worse shortly after Microsoft bought SwiftKey. Which makes me wonder if they're forcing us to use Cortana

If you use voice input then it's not because of SwiftKey, SwiftKey does NOT have any kinds of voice input method.

The mic icon is just a trigger for using Google voice input.
