While I understand you would like the latter to be usable without the need for the former to be activated, this would not be possible.

If you have "Autocorrect" on, words will only be corrected when you hit the spacebar if SwiftKey believes you've misspelled a word. If you have "Quick prediction insert" turned on, SwiftKey will insert the middle prediction every time you press the spacebar, even if you haven't started typing a word yet. Because of this, it only makes sense for the Autocorrect functionality to be turned on in order to have "Quick prediction insert" available as well.

Even if we set it so that you could toggle "Quick prediction insert" on its own, you'd always automatically toggle "Autocorrect" along with it.

Oh dear, I seem to have written a short story. 😅 If this doesn't make any sense, please let me know...

(TL;DR: "Quick prediction insert" automatically corrects words with the middle prediction, meaning you have to have "Autocorrect" turned on for it to work.)

    Kind regards,

Hey, thanks for the quick reply. I understand it and it makes sense, unfortunately.

Thank you for the great Application. It's the first I set up whenever I get a fresh system.

    Have a nice day.
