How to REMOVE Downloaded Themes listed in "YOURS" section?
RéponduI downloaded and tried a few themes. I would like to have my favorite themes listed in the "YOURS" tab. However, all the themes I have tried are listed there which makes it very confusing.
Is there a way to remove the unwanted theme in the "YOURS" tab? I have seen in other post that I should uninstall Swiftkey and re-install again. This is not a convenient solution because this will still list all the junk themes from the premium pack and alll free thems I got under my account before the themes were free.
If there is no way, may I suggest a feature?
1) Rename the tab name from "YOURS" to Favorite
2) Add an option to remove a them from the Favorite section.
Thanks in advance
Thanks for the reach-out, Trita. While there isn't a way to change the themes that are listed in the "Yours" tab, could I have you submit a Feature Request Ticket for the team to review? The themes currently listed in the "Yours" tab are those that you have "purchased," whether they are currently installed or not. (Granted, since making all of the themes free, this should have been altered seeing as most users will download and test as many themes as they can because they're free.)
In the meantime, the themes displayed in the hub should only be those that you've downloaded, so you could clear your data (to uninstall all themes, because there's currently no way to remove them one-by-one) and only install the ones you know you want so that only they show up in the hub.
I echo Trita's concern. Wipe them all and start over. I just wasted a bunch of time.
Not to be ungrateful for a free app. It's nice.
This can be simply done by logging out from Swift Key account by selecting Accounts Tab.
Logging out is a temporary solution since it removes some of the benefits of being logged in. As soon as you log in all the downloaded themes are still there. Even if you delete app data they are still there. Not sure why the developers don't simply add a feature to delete, hide, or remove unwanted themes. Seems silly. I downloaded dozens to see how they looked not realizing I couldn't remove them, kind of frustrating. I'd really like to see an option to remove unwanted/unused themes, especially if they are taking up any internal storage.
Let's make this happen! We want to be able to try them and then unclutter by removing them!
I am bumping this because it is really annoying to see a list of themes I have tried, but will never use again. This should really be fixed......Just to taunt the devs.... GBoard figured it out.
Hi,
I totally agree with the other comments in this thread, the developers should be able to add some way to be able to delete / remove unwanted downloaded themes. Hopefully in the not too distant future something like this will happen.
