White font on white background after the latest Swiftkey update when typing horizontally (from yesterday)
Hello Swiftkey Support,
I've been facing with a very annoying issue since the latest Swiftkey update from yesterday.
Suddenly and after this update, I'm not able to type anything on my messengers apps (WhatsApp, FB Messenger, Viber) when having my phone horizontally because Swiftkey changes the font into white color on white background, so basically I can't see what I'm typing.
Before this update, Swiftkey was working absolutely normally, I am absolutely sure because I've been always typing on my phone via horizontally position and the font was in black color and on white background.
This is happening only in case of horizontally typing. When I move my phone to vertical position, I can see white font on dark background, like it's supposed to be in normal way.
But when I move my phone with the same text again into horizontally position, Swiftkey changes by itself the font into white and on white background, so I can't see anything.
Could you please fix this because it's really annoying ?
I've been using Android 10 on my phone.
I've restarted my phone also and it didn't fix the Swiftkey issue. When I changed my keyboard to Gboard, everything is working normally, even in horizontally position.
Thank you very much.
Same. Looks like there's also some recent bad reviews on the Google Play Store pointing this out. I sent a support email. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

Same issue here... Really annoying....
Is there anybody who can answer our request here ?!
Same problem here. Google Pixel 3a, latest versions. Really annoying bug.
I have the same problem with my OnePlus6 with Android 10
I've just sent an email to their android support task ID -> android-support@swiftkey.com and I pasted the whole url link with all our communication here, so they can take a look and hopefully to fix this annoying issue asap.
Galaxy S10e running Android 10 stock.
I have this issue occasionally, vertically. I have posted about it here before and got no response. I have contacted the support email address but they just keep sending me form mail in reply.
As far as I can determine, this is a SwiftKey issue (see below).
In some browsers and apps, the spell check pop-up window is white on a white background. This happens in both Opera and Chrome. Firefox appears not to give a spell check pop-up window. Samsung Internet displays the pop-up window correctly with black text. This happens if I have either Samsung or Google set as the spell checker. Other apps which display the spell check pop-up window appear to work correctly. This only happens with SwiftKey keyboard. Neither Samsung keyboard nor Gboard seem to display a spell check pop-up window. This happens regardless of what site I am on. It is happening on this site. I've searched a lot and can find no information about this.
I am a paid SwiftKey user, before the app became free.
