Haptic Feedback broken since update
RéponduHello everyone, I updated my Swiftkey to version 7.6.9.7 and since then I do not have the standard android haptic feedback on my keystrokes anymore.
I tried to enable it via the settings in swiftkey, but only the swiftkeys own haptic feedback is working and I don't want to use those.
Using the setting "standard android vibration" doesn't do anything anymore. I also tried to restart the phone in case of a bug.
The system vibration via the samsung settings is enabled for all keyboards.
My android version is Android 10 with the latest security patch update from December.
Thanks!
Hello,
Thank you very much for the additional information.
From our email conversation you also mentioned you experienced this with Gboard. For this reason, I would suggest to check for an OS update for your device as this seems related to your device settings.
Hey Deniz!
I'm using a galaxy s10. Here is a screenshot of my haptic system settings. The only way to get swiftkeys haptic feedback on strokes back is to switch on the "touch interaction" (marked in red) under "system sounds and vibration". But this also activates the vibration feedback when tapping the task manager on the bottom left for example, which was conveniently not the case before the update.
Thanks!
