SwiftKey wants to replace "that" with "thst"
RéponduFor some reason, SwiftKey will inexplicably (and it has done this for many years and versions) want to autocorrect "that" to "thst". It makes no sense, and I make sure to manually delete the suggestion every time. This happens maybe once per month? After I delete it, if I try to type "that" a few times, it will suggest "that" correctly. I have autocorrect enabled. I have Norwegian and English (UK) as languages. "Thst" is not a word in any vocabulary, or something that I will ever use. This random, buggy suggestion just seems to happen from time to time and I don't understand why.
It is not that I type "thst" by mistake - that might too happen - I type "that" correctly first time, and I see SwiftKey changing it to "thst". Very annoying!
Hi Petter Jakob sorry to hear about the trouble. In such cases, we suggest to restart the learning process by following the steps here: https://support.swiftkey.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004639969. If this does not help, please submit a support ticket to https://aka.ms/sk-support and we can investigate further. Thanks.
This also happens with the word "dag" (Norw. for "day"). It wants to type it as "dsg" many times. Dsg means nothing in either Norw. or Eng.
But this post will never be approved, so I don't know why you have this forum.
This occurs because some time in the past, "thst" and "dag" were incorrectly entered for "that" and "day", and then SwiftKey remembers those misspellings. The way to correct this is as follows ...
When "thst" or "dag" show up, long-press on the incorrect entry in the prediction bar. Then, a dialog should pop up with the message `Remove Prediction? Do not predict "thst" again."` (or "dag", or whatever you are long-pressing on). At that point, click "OK". And then just type "that" or "day" or whatever.
From that point forward, "thst" or "dag" or whatever shouldn't be offered again.
