I am always removing "OK" from the prediction and it will just reappear all the time. It says "OK" successfully removed from learned words but it will still be there as the auto correct so if I do no click on the ok on the left it changes it to OK. It happened multiple times just writing this.

Can't use Swiftkey in Samsung DeX on Tab S44 votes 4 commentaires
I have a Samsung Tab S4 and I really like the DeX mode with the official Samsung Tab S4 keyboard cover, but there's one major drawback. It seems there's nothing I can do to enable SwiftKey when in DeX mode.
As such, I have to rely on the useless Samsung keyboard which doesn't even add a capital letter at the start of sentences.
SwiftKey works fine when using the Samsung Tab S4 keyboard cover when not in DeX model.
How do I switch on SwiftKey in DeX mode?

HOW TO BACKUP AND RESTORE ALL CLIPBOARD CREATED SHORTCUTS AND OVERVIEW IT AND EDIT IT IN A FILE?4 votes 0 commentaires
3 QUESTIONS IN 1 >
HOW TO BACKUP AND RESTORE ALL CLIPBOARD CREATED SHORTCUTS?
I want to create a backup file from all the created clipboard shortcuts.
AND OVERVIEW IT?
in my phone i can't organise the shortcuts, i can only create a lot and scroll through the created shortcuts and edit them when i can find them. But after making hundreds of shortcuts it is frustrating to lose an overview and not be able to organise them all on Alphabetical order and in a spreadsheet file or anything exportable to a cloud - document - excel conversion so i can keep the shortcuts and export the file to another device and use them all again on that device.
This could be handy for educational tool on schools and universities with standard shortcuts.
Also it would be great if the overview is possible in a spreadsheet so people can really learn the shortcuts and overview them, edit the ones they want to edit and restore the file to the device or devices.
AND EDIT IT IN A FILE?
Talking about a dowloadable file is the first thing we need to do if we think about shortcuts on keyboards.
Swiftkey would be the best app if it allows users to create a file and make them able to edit these shortcuts personal in an editor online or on a spreadsheet cloud environment.
Changing which symbols are associated with each letter?4 votes 2 commentaires
For instance, maybe I prefer the $ to be associated with a long press on D instead of X.
New to iOS4 votes 2 commentaires
Hi, new to iOS but previous long term android user and I loved my swiftkey keyboard. Is it me or are there less features? I really liked the arrow keys and long pressing on a letter to get a number or different symbol. Does the iOS version not have these features?. In the menu page, on Android there is a "typing" section where I set these up but missing from iOS??
Thanks in advance

Text shortcuts4 votes 3 commentaires
I am a busy man, efficiency is key, but I've been using the default android keyboard since time immemorial. Stubborn to make its lackluster autocorrect system work for me. Swiftkey blows that out of the water BUT there's something seemingly easy to add but essential about the keyboard that's missing from Swiftkey and had saved me a ton of time in the Samsung keyboard. You guessed it, text shortcuts. They can help me write three letters that get replaced with a paragraph of text I'd pre-written and sent a thousand times. These are non negotiable to continue using your otherwise wonderful app and I'd be more than pleased to use it in the future should that feature be added
Thank you for your time

Revert to letters after using the spacebar after punctuation.4 votes 0 commentaires
I just switch from iOS SwiftKey to Android Switfkey and the keyboard is a bit different. Its smaller, which is okay... But the punctuation is different. On iOS when I would type "oh my gosh!" for example, the keyboard would revert back to the letters after I typed the "!" and pressed the spacebar. I can't find an option for this. Is there one? If not, PLEASE fix this!
Another thing is the keys are in different places so I'm finding it hard to adapt. Adding a layout option for the keyboards would help. The bottom row of symbols has 8 symbols instead of the 5 I was used to. I am sure I will adjust, but it would be a nice feature for users who are switching keyboards.
Compact resize button is bothering4 votes 3 commentaires
Hi! I find the New square "full keyboard" button when in compact Mode bothering. I only use compact because I love to use my phone with one hand and with the button I keep making the keyboard complete all the time. Could you Make it optional in order to remove it? Thanks
Auto incognito switching and typing4 votes 0 commentaires
It's awesome to know that SwiftKey can switch to Incognito mode automatically in Chrome/Firefox incognito tabs. But there's an issue.
The keyboard theme/UI for the incognito mode, does not show Accented characters. This causes serious problems while typing or want to type fast.
Solution : 1. Implement the feature, to show all Accented characters, custom theme in incognito mode (just don't track the typing, and that's all).
2. Give option to turn off Auto incognito switching.
Haptic Feedback iOS4 votes 2 commentaires
Would love to have an option for haptic feedback for SwiftKey iOS. I can't understand why they haven't added that yet, it seems really simple. I don't want to leave SwiftKey because of this, it's such a great keyboard.

Accented characters & top number row4 votes 1 commentaire
I’ve used this keyboard on all of my devices, it is my go to keyboard. I recently changed from an android to an iPhone. It is my first time using an iPhone/IOS. SwiftKey is not allowing me the option to have accented characters or the option to add a number row. I was wondering if this is just the way it is with iOS ?
Quick access to plain text emoticons4 votes 1 commentaire
don't know if this has already been asked, cannot find it in the forum search. The thing is I'm an old guy, I've started chatting when we still had the BBSs and Internet was almost unknown. Because of that I hate all those damn emojis, all that bitmap wasting just to show stupid faces, and silly objects, and flags and who knows what other weird stuff. So, is there a way to quick access the text-only emoticons, ie, those you can type by just using brackets, two colon and the like :-) :-/ :-(
Previous versions, I could keep the Enter key pressed and at least a top row with a clock icon appeared, and from there I could see my last typed emoticons. Now, text emoticons are not under the clock anymore and the text emoticons tab :-) is just the last one, and it's very impractical to access it this way. Can the order of those tabs be changed? Could you bring the text emoticons back to the history tab?
Thanks in advance for the help.
text based emojis no longer show in recent4 votes 2 commentaires
it seems that the text based emojis [ :-) ;-) :-( etc] no longer show in the most recently used emoji list. is there an option to revert this back to previous behaviour?
So many themes, but not one that looks good4 votes 2 commentaires
I have several issues with the SwiftKey themes:
1. There are lots of themes, but most of them feature the exact same key layout with another background. These 'themes' should not be listed as separate themes, but as variations of a theme. The most sensible thing to do to get some structure in this mess, is creating several keyboard layouts (i.e. with rectangular keys, rounded corners, no border,...), then let the user choose whether or not to display secondary symbols on the keys, and then offer color options.
2. There is no reason to put the SwiftKey logo in plain sight on the spacebar. I know which keyboard I'm using, and I 'm happy to tell other people if they ask, but I don't want your logo all the time in my sight. Put it in the '+'-menu if you absolutely need to show it somewhere.
3. There are almost no beautiful themes. I know this is very subjective, and yes, there are themes with balloons and fireworks as background images, and I can even use a custom photo,... But to me, a perfect keyboard is the keyboard that is not "in your face"; it's a keyboard that you don't even notice using. It should be clean, and have no showy interface elements. These themes are (almost) not available to choose from. The only theme that comes close to this, is 'Minimal material light', but even in a 'minimal' theme, you couldn't stop using colors and painted the shift, backspace, enter, emoji and symbols keys lilac.
Please get rid of the nineties keyboard layouts and introduce some modern ones, and make them fully customizable.

Keyboard too big after security update4 votes 8 commentaires
My Nokia 7 plus got a security update, and afterwards I noticed that the SwiftKey keyboard had gotten bigger. I'm on version 126.96.36.199. Here's a screenshot of how big the keyboard is now: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ev3YBoLgGUGTp2wxCUw---IzxnxwD0G1/view?usp=drivesdk
German layout - long press4 votes 2 commentaires
I just started to use Swiftkey, and I love it, but the fact how the letters ß, ä, ö, and ü are handled when typing in German are a complete deal-breaker for me. It's such a simple thing, and I honestly don't understand why it's not implemented in a smart way.
In order to type an 'ä', you have to long press the letter 'a', then the '@' appears beneath your finger, and you have to move to the letter 'ä'. In German, the letter 'ä' is just a normal character, and it is used a lot more often than the letter '@', so it should be the other way round. After the long press, the 'ä' should automatically appear beneath your finger, so you just have to long press it, without the extra move.
The same thing applies to ß (after long pressing the 's', the ß should be standard, instead of the '#'), for o (where the 9 is standard instead of ö), and the 'ü' as well.
Gboard, and any other keyboard (to my knowledge) implement it in that way. So you just have to long press the u, in order to get a ü, and so on. It's fine if you have to move your finger for characters that you don't need that often, but ä, ü, ö and ß should be the first choice when long pressing.
[Feature Request] Please make special characters visible on the keys4 votes 2 commentaires
I really would like to not have to hit the number key to get special characters and numbers . On my android I could long press a key to get the character or had the option for a number row. In iOS, it's really a pain to have to leave the main keys to just get a character or number. Can you add a number row and make special characters accessible on the letter keys? Thank you
Japanese Keitai input4 votes 2 commentaires
Please add the feature to turn off the old obsolete Keitai multiple tap input for Japanese and use Flick ONLY. Gboard allows you to do this. It is such a pain whenever you want to enter hiragana twice you have to wait and it ruins the flow. I've made so many mistakes because of this so I'm forced to use Gboard. But I'd really like it for SwiftKey to add this and it should be a really easy thing to implement
Smarter capitalization of "I"4 votes 0 commentaires
This has been asked for about a year ago, but I'll try again... I've enabled two languages in the SwiftKey (beta) app. My native tongue and English. Switching between the two is seamless, which I enjoy, but the app keeps capitalizing my I's in my mother tongue as well (where "i" is a standalone word that shouldn't be capitalized mid-sentence). It would be great if the app could for example look at the word before "i" and then suggest capitalizing only if the word is English.
For now I have to manually correct it, which takes a lot of time in the long run.
Remove accented characters not used by language4 votes 0 commentaires
Just switched from Android (where this keyboard worked just great for me for last couple of years) to iOS and have an impression that it doesn't speed up my typing at all here...
Can you please remove accented characters that are not supported/does not appear in the selected language? I'm using Polish as my main language and when trying to input "Ą" I have to scroll all the way through À, Á, Â, Ä and couple more that my language doesn't use to reach my native letter at the end (can't make a screenshot with this long-pressed pop-up appearing on screen). The same situation happens with other accented characters of Polish language (Ę, Ł, Ó, etc). That was not an issue on Android.
Keyboard covers input field - impossible to write, predictions not working4 votes 4 commentaires
I'm having a big issue with SwiftKey on my HTC ONE M7 on Android 5.
The keyboard covers the input field in almost any messenger (WA, GG, TG,...) and makes it impossible to write.
The predictions are also not click-able. When I tap on one of the predictions, the keyboard disappears, as if I would tap on the Messengers window.
I have some Screenshots showing the bug but this forum doesn't seem to have an option to attach images. How can I post an image?
With this serious bug, SwiftKey is totally useless for me.
I can't see the text I'm writing.
I can't tap on the predictions.
The built-in HTC Sense Keyboard works just fine without this issue, so it has to be SwiftKey that's causing the bug.
Please resolve this issue as soon as possible. I can't live without SwiftKey!
Manual language swap4 votes 2 commentaires
Hi, is it possible to change languages manually? When I have two or more languages together (i have Czech, English and French) and use flow, the resulting words of the flow gesture tend to be wrong often (a lot). Even if i use only Czech and English which is necessary in my every day life it is not working well. I would appreciate manual language switching as was possible in the past. Also separate personal dictionaries would be implied.(added words)
