How can I use flow typing on Chinese keyboard (swipe from letter to letter)?
How can I use flow typing on Chinese keyboard (swipe from letter to letter)?
I just got a new phone and I thought all my data and settings would transfer over when I installed the app on my new phone, but it hasn't. Please help! I'm on android.
I'm not sure if this bug lies with Snapchat, SwiftKey, or Facebook, but for the last few months, if I have any open floating chat heads from Facebook Messenger and SwiftKey is selected as my keyboard when I open a chat, the entire screen flickers rapidly. If I select the default Google keyboard as my input, it does not occur. If I swipe away all open Facebook messenger floating chat heads, it does not occur. The behavior also does not occur in any other applications, or in any other functionality of Snapchat except for chat (taking pictures/video, watching stories are all fine). The only workaround I've discovered via searching online is to enable the "Disable HW overlays" setting in Developer Options for my phone, which unfortunately does not persist across device reboots.
I have opened concurrent cases with Snapchat, SwiftKey, and Facebook Messenger all with the same details, since this behavior only occurs with the specific interactions of these 3 apps.
My Saved Words are not getting PREDICTED, after resetting of Galaxy S 9 Plus
I have 600 words with shortcuts that I want to save as clips. How can I do this without manually entering them one at a time?
I think it would be great if the Clipboard had a "flap" just for her. So we could edit everything we want in the text at once. The following photo is an example.
Another very interesting shortcut is the possibility of touching and holding the space key and moving the cursor through the text, stopping at any part of it.
Is it possible to collapse or Turn off the suggestion / Prediction row bar ?!
Why I can't hide Themes button in bar? I don't need it, but SwiftKey not allow to hide it from keyboard top bar :(
Being able to type Chinese pinyin tone markings quickly is extremely useful for learning and instructional reasons. Most of the options available are problematic and/or inefficient. Is there an easy way to do this with Swiftkey's English or Mandarin keyboards? Could this be folded in as an option to existing keyboards, and/or could their be a specific language option for it?
Pinyin is the first character set learned by young Chinese children -- it's not just a crutch for expats and other gringos. There is a need and a demand for this sort of feature.
I had to reflash my phone due to most Google apps constantly crashing. SwiftKey was automatically restored by after running it & configuring it the same way that I have done for 5 years a lot of functions/features don't work properly!
Even though I've logged into my SwiftKey account and synced my phone word predictions don't happen, none of the words that I've added to my personal dictionary are predicted, emoji predictions don't happen and recent words used & emojis used don't show. I have loved SwiftKey since I bought it many years ago but these latest problems are really frustrating & time consuming to have type out full words.
Note that I uninstalled the latest version & despite installing an older February 2019 version I found that I still have the same problems.
Will the pinned clipboard materials will be sync in personal account, for future restoration?
Hi! I've been trying for days to find out how to contact someone in support but all their email ever does is send an autoreply that says they'll get back to you... which, they never do. So much for that!!!
ANYWAY... I'm putting this here so that hopefully someone at SwiftKey Support will see this and get it to the right ears??
I love the fact that this keyboard allows for arrow keys BUT I HATE that they are at the BOTTOM of the keyboard! I am ALWAYS accidentally hitting them and moving my cursor around to places in my text where I don't want it to be!! I would LIKE to be able to MOVE the arrow key row to the TOP of the keyboard, but there doesn't seem to be any way to do this in the keyboard configuration.
Would the Developers PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE offer this feature?!?!? Having the arrow keys stuck at the bottom of the keyboard and always accidentally hitting them is REALLY frustrating me to the point of I'm about to UNINSTALL.... :(
when entering an email address with Swiftkey, there's the key with the @-sign to the right of the space bar. When doing a long press, it offers a list of domain names (for me "@yahoo.com", "@hotmail.com" and "@gmail.com") for quick fill. Is there any way to edit this list? I would love to add a few entries to this list.
After update I can't select gif in WhatsApp anymore. When you select a gif nothing happens
I use Thai (Kedmanee) keyboards layouts for Thai languages. But I found a problem when I press the following key which I would call that alias A , B , D
1. A or "ข" When I use physical keyboards. In my phone screen shown "จ" like that I press C or "จ"
2. A or "ข" When I use physical keyboards with "Shift" key. In my phone screen shown "๗" like that I press C or "จ" with "Shift" key instead "๘".
3. B or "ช" When I use physical keyboards. In my phone screen shown "จ" like that I press C or "จ"
4. B or "ช" When I use physical keyboards with "Shift" key. In my phone screen shown "๗" like that I press C or "จ" with "Shift" key instead "๙".
5. D or "ป" When I use physical keyboards with "Shift" key. In my phone screen shown "); " instead of having to appear ")".
My phone use Xiaomi 5s with Android 8.0 on MIUI 10.4 by xiaomi.eu 9.6.5 Beta
I know it's been requested in the past, but we really need a favorites emoji tab. The recent emojis only holds about 28, so I can barely hang onto the ones I use regularly, if I happen to use any others. Suddenly I have to search through the countless other emojis, just to find the one I want. I've taken to regularly reorganizing my recently used, in the annoying and tedious task of reusing them all at once so they stay at the top of my recent list.
Please, I love SwiftKey, and just badly want this feature. Not having it is driving me nuts
How to delete, once for ever, the line with suggestions over the line with numbers? I need Your help, because I have become well irritated with the line with suggesttions that is placed over the line of numbers. I never use these suggestions, they are extremely annoying and they cover very precious space that should be used for messages. Could anyone help me?

I'm using the qwerty keyboard and I'm writing the letters like "ğ" "ş" "ç" used in Turkish by holding the letters "g" "s" "c". But when I hold it down, I need to have these letters just under my finger, but instead, it's always necessary to hold the icons each time they are pressed, and then to the left. However, I do not use icons in this way almost always use the letters in this way. Do I have a chance to change the situation with a setting without having to do this all the time? So, for example, when I hold down the letter "g", I want the use letter "ğ" without having to swift to the left . Can I do that?
super disappointed by swiftkey swipe down to dismiss and left to clear word randomly stop working the only thing I can do to bring them back is to reboot phone.
this bug has been around for years shame on you swiftkey.
When making word suggestions, there are only ever 3 words to choose from. I seem to remember Swype offered 5 or 6, but I can't remember how they did it. Please add more choices.
Hi. Is there away I can keep the red line under spelling mistakes while using swiftkey? This works with the Samsung stock keyboard, but as soon as I change to swift these feature disappears.
I have a galaxy s9 on pie
Any help would be very much appreciated.
I understand that SwiftKey is not age restricted, and therefore needs to filter out explicit language. However, there should be an option to disable these filters, especially for GIFs. As an adult, I don't need my keyboard to parent me. If I want to find a vulgar GIF, I should be able to. Other keyboards allow it, SwiftKey should too.
In Chrome Remote Desktop the backspace key needs to be long pressed for several seconds before it starts responding. After it does, single tapping works until any other key is pressed after which this procedure needs to be repeated. This is an application that does not support autocomplete. However other keyboards (like Google's GBoard) do not have this problem.
I have a Galaxy S10+ and more often than not when I'm trying to write something in an app or a webpage I'm left to "write in the dark" since the writing field stays behind the keyboard. I've tried fiddling around with different SwiftKey setting, resizing etc, but nothing helps so far..
I've never had this problem before today.
At the password entry page for my online banking website, the keyboard had previously hidden the predictive bar. However just a while ago in the same password page, the predictive text bar was not hidden and it was showing what I typed .
Worse of all it was saving my password as an autocomplete option!
The website address is correct and secure. Is this a bug that SwiftKey doesn't recognise the password entry page?
I've found several users that are complaining about this annoying useless feature, for a fair amount of time, and we are still stuck with it. Is the idea we uninstall SwiftKey? Or is this forum just a sandbox exclusive for the users, with no SwiftKey moderators!?
Gboard and the standard Samsung keyboard has had this feature for years now.
I've managed with having cursor keys at the bottom, but after Android and full screen gestures, my palms often presses those arrows and leads to misspellings.
I've swiped many miles through the years, and I hope I can go back to Swiftkey.....
I got an Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S9. I downloaded Swiftkey and logged in on my old account. But my stats and vocabulary is gone. Is there some way I can synchronize?
I am not happy with the create your own theme option. Only allowed to use a picture for a background is lame. We should be able to do a lot more than this.
