[Feature Request] Chinese (Simplified and Traditional) for iOS20 votes 4 commentaires
Why STILL no Chinese for IOS??16 votes 10 commentaires
this situation is really ridiculous - why is Chinese input available for Android, but after all this time and so many iterations and versions, it is still not available for IOS? Please don't tell us to keep switching with the IOS keyboard, that is not a valid answer.
When will Chinese, and especially Pinyin input for Traditional Chinese, be added to this app?

Chinese in iOS Répondu5 votes 2 commentaires
I'm learning Chinese and Russian and was very happy with the SwiftKey keyboard on my Android phone as I could easily switch between the two keyboards and found them much easier to use than the native keyboard. However, since moving to an iPhone, I'm really disappointed to find that Chinese is not available in the iOS version of SwiftKey. Is there any reason for this?? Are the plans to enable it??
Many thanks for a Swift response.
[Feature Request] Add Arabic PC layout to iOS4 votes 5 commentaires
In iOS default arabic keyboard we've two layouts: Arabic and Arabic PC
(Arabic PC is like the layout of an Arabic keyboard on windows)
So please support it because I'm used to it.
Large empty space under the SwiftKey keyboard in portrait mode, and ample space around it in landscape mode. Répondu1 vote 1 commentaireThere's a 3/4 inch blank space under the SwiftKey keyboard. The globe key / keyboard switch / keyboard settings isn't merged with the emoji button to the left of the spacebar. -Also even when SwiftKey is set as the main default keyboard, it keeps switching back to the iOS native keyboard. I ended up having to remove all other keyboards. -Does not back up / save / restore settings. I lost the all of my themes, settings, and usage data. I made sure it was synced backed up 3 times before I uninstalled the app. IPhone 11 Pro iOS 14.4.1
IOS Polish diacritical marks Répondu2 votes 1 commentaire
In IOS version of the app when you long press letters polish diacritical marks (ą, ć, ę, ł, ń, ó, ś, ź, ż) are on the very end of avalible symbols behind marks not used in polish language. Could you move then so they appear first (plus maybe remove non polish ones)?
Misspelled words not underlined Répondu0 votes 1 commentaire
I've noticed that when I compose text on my iPhone or iPad, misspelled words are only underlined if I'm using the native iOS keyboard. There is no underlining if I'm using SwiftKey.
Can someone please comment on this behavior and if there is a way to change it?

Why SwiftKey hasn't fixed the cursor control issue on non 3D Touch devices yet? Répondu1 vote 9 commentaires
We came upon non 3D Touch devices as Apple has completely abandoned the technology, bringing haptic feedback. On devices with small screens, such as the iPhone, is easier to handle the lack of cursor control (although iOS native keyboard does the trick very nicely), but it is terrible on the iPad. SwiftKey is, hands down, the smartest keyboard there is - and it's exactly why it is so hard to understand why they didn't come up with a solution.

How do I make special characters appear above each alphabetical letter? Répondu2 votes 3 commentaires
Hello, I am french, I just upgraded from an Android Smartphone to an iPhone SE 2020 iOS 12, but I cannot configure my Swiftkey keyboard to display the special characters above each alphabetical letter like I did on Android. . I know that special characters are also accessible by pressing the "123" key then the "+ = #" key if I want to use the underscore "_" for example but it's really not practical, whereas on my Android Swiftkey keyboard, I just have to stay and press the "W" key to make the underscore "_"! Can you help me configure my Swiftkey keyboard on my iPhone SE 2020 iOS 12 as on my Android please. I'm placing a screenshot of my Android Swiftkey keyboard where the special characters above the letters I want to appear on my iPhone Swiftkey keyboard are outlined in red.
Apple Pencil auxiliary keyboard does not display. Répondu0 votes 1 commentaire
When I tap for the Apple Pencil auxiliary keyboard in ANY app it does not always display. All that I get more often than not is the shaded bar that allows me to move the position of the board. Shutting down and restarting the app/ device does not fix it. It just seems to be luck when it appears.

Ipad landscape share from Facebook to text message send button not working Répondu0 votes 2 commentaires
I have an 2020 ipad air with ios 14.3, SwiftKey version 2.8.5 and if I try to share a post from Facebook to a text message while in landscape mode the send arrow is not operational and seems to overlap on the message window. If I rotate the iPad in portrait mode the send arrow works. Please fix this bug, I have been dealing with this for a couple of months but did not get a chance to report it. Thank you.
Autopunctuation Répondu0 votes 1 commentaireIs there a way of disabling the auto punctuation feature in Swiftkey on the iPhone? I would like to place the punctuation myself rather than for the application to place a full stop whenever I pause. Because of this auto punctuation feature the voice to text although very accurate becomes unusable as it places automatic full stops when one makes a slight pause. I can see this question has been asked many months before but no response yet. Kindly assist

I’ve restarted, same issue, any suggestions!

Swipe left to delete Répondu1 vote 1 commentaire
Something tells me that this question has been already asked before on that forum. I just could not find the right thread. I've just moved from Android to iOS with the iPhone 12, installed my favorite keyboard - SwiftKey.
One thing that I'm missing a lot is the functionality of deleting a word by swiping left to right on the keyboard. Something that I've used "a lot" on Android. Is there a way to enable it on the iOS version?
Please give iOS users a few more keyboard click sounds and volume controls. Répondu0 votes 1 commentaire
Please allow a few more optional click sounds for iOS Swiftkey? A computer keyboard press sound would be awesome. Also volume controls for the click sounds? Some of us have hearing handicaps and would appreciate the extra help to hear the keyboard clicks.
"remove prediction" doesn't work!2 votes 2 commentairesI'm using SwiftKey 2.8.0 on iOS 13.5.1 and for some odd reason it keeps predicting "Mar" instead of "mar". I tried a few times to remove the capitalized prediction but it doesn't work and I keep getting Mar instead of mar. Any suggestions?
Multiple languages - keyboard doesn't switch Répondu1 vote 15 commentaires
I thought I'd chime in here before I let SwiftKey go for a while. I've been a very happy user on Android since the beta days, and always loved the concept. I switched to iOS partly because swiftkey was available, but it has always been a struggle on iOS.
I write different languages (Norwegian and English), but mostly type in English when on the phone. The Norwegian QWERTY-keyboard has additional characters (å, æ, ø) which are used fairly often, but SwiftKey won't let me set this keyboard as standard. If I add English language the English keyboard is set as default, and the mechanism for switching keyboards is broken, and has been for a very long time.
Have a look at what happens when long-pressing the space button:
This results in me having to uncheck English in the app, and having to open the app > check English every time I want to switch between the languages, a very cumbersome process.
I've tried pretty much everything to fix this:
- Reinstalled SwiftKey
- Restart phone (iPhone 7, but was apparent on iPhone 6 also)
- Factory reset phone
- Link/unlink from sync servers
No matter what I do, this is the result always, and I'm very fed up. Please fix this!

Disable period key next to spacebar3 votes 4 commentairesHi, love SwiftKey till the end, but almost everytime I use SwiftKey, all.my.sentences.look.like.this. The spacebar is shrinked from the right side thanks to a period being there, and I have made so many misclicks on it since I always use the right part of the spacebar to enter a space. An option to remove that period would be very welcomed. SwiftKey has literally been my go-to keyboard for like 2 years now, but no matter how long I've been with it, that period still gets in the way. Any help is appreciated.
