Ever since my XS max update to iOS 13, the keyboard default won't stay constant. I've moved the top keyboard around within Settings General Keyboards, but SwiftKey at the top typically will not come up as default. Worked fine prior to the iOS updates. Not sure what to do.

Remove Apple tools bar3 votes 1 commentaire
Is it possible to remove this area, which I marked on my screen to get more screen space for my conversations? I disabled all other keyboards and microphone functions so all buttons disappeared from a bar and now it's just unused and wasted space on my screen :( Anyone?

Can we please get one handed mode keyboard for the iPhone? It is really hard to use the swipe function on the iPhone XS Max with this huge screen.

Is it possible to add a clip that is dynamic - say cd for the current date, ct for the current time etc? Are there any sort of macros like that available?

Dear SwiftKey team,
Please add support for the Ukrainian language, I and many of my friends are waiting for this for several years.
Number keys for iOS3 votes 2 commentaires
I keep seeing how adding the number key functionality is not currently possible in iOS. However, I've already seen this in the Touchpad keyboard. I would really love it if SwiftKey would follow suit and add this functionality.

Can't use Japanese on iPhone, what a drag!3 votes 0 commentaires
I've been a happy user of SwiftKey for years on my Android phone, never had an issue with it, always seamless and easy to use. I've just switched to a new iPhone and Japanese is not offered for iPhone users, this is surprising to say the least and very disappointing. I was able to simply swipe the spacebar to the right to change between English & Japanese which was perfect. I am a native English speaker but live in Japan and need to text, search, etc. in both languages. I find it hard to believe that SwiftKey does not offer Japanese for iPhone but only for Android. I'm going to have to look to another app that can do that for me, too bad really.
Korean language for iOS113 votes 5 commentaires
There are other posts about this which were months old, but I feel that I have to voice out again.
I was on an android phone until recently, and I had been using SwiftKey on android (English, Korean, Chinese, Japanese). I just switched to iOS recently and was taken aback that foreign languages such as Korean, Chinese and Japanese are not available here..
Can the community be given some sort of updates on whether there is a team working on adding these new languages in the roadmap?
SwiftKey is the best keyboard out there for me and I am currently struggling with stock keyboards. I hope at the very least Korean keyboard can be added soon.
Edit: I would definitely be more than glad to pay for your keyboard even if you add Korean keyboard as a premium feature
Thank you very much.
SwiftKey flicker/lag3 votes 1 commentaire
Since a few updates SwiftKey started to flicker, i.e. when I pick the text input area in an app (doesn't matter which one, same behaviour all across the board) SwiftKey shows up, quickly vanishes and then shows up again. If I start typing before it vanishes nothing happens until it reappears. That's annoying, but I can stand it if it weren't for..
Sometimes SwiftKey doesn't reappear, but the standard iOS keyboard. So I have to manually switch keyboard again.
Quite annoying, frankly. A fix, please?

Why there is no bangla language
Nickel dark3 votes 3 commentaires
Please change nickel dark back to how it was. That look was why I used SwiftKey. I've been using SwiftKey for years, back when it was a paid app on Android, and I always used that theme. I'm very disappointed and would like my theme back.
[Feature Request] Korean support for iOS Répondu3 votes 5 commentaires
I used this very usefully on Android, but I could not use Korean after I switched to iPhone.
Why do you support Korean on Android and not on iPhone?
Please please support Korean on iPhone.
Hide Emoji Key Répondu2 votes 1 commentaire
I have an iPhone 12 with the latest (2.9.0) version of swiftkey and somehow the option to disable the quick emoji key is not working: it is set to off, but the key is still there. It is annoying not only because I press it by mistake but also because iOS has its own emoji shortcut right below it, so its just taking up space.
Anything special i need to do to disable it?
IOS Polish diacritical marks Répondu2 votes 1 commentaire
In IOS version of the app when you long press letters polish diacritical marks (ą, ć, ę, ł, ń, ó, ś, ź, ż) are on the very end of avalible symbols behind marks not used in polish language. Could you move then so they appear first (plus maybe remove non polish ones)?
iOS 14.4 - iPhoneXR SwiftKey not working Répondu2 votes 8 commentaires
Phone Model - iPhone XR
Version iOS 14.4
Key Issue: After upgrading from 14.3 to 14.4, SwiftKey fails to work on any application (Microsoft Office 365 mobile applications, WhatsApp, native text messaging, etc.) even when it is the default keyboard. I've deleted and reinstalled the application, restarted my phone, and the Board will flicker to SwiftKey but then switch automatically to Apple's native keyboard. I've installed other third-party keyboard applications to test if this is an issue for them (e.g. Fleksy and GBoard) and run into no issues. Seems to just be an issue with SwiftKey.
Is there a recommended fix for this? This never occurred or was an issue prior to installing the 14.4 software update.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
SwiftKey app opens during voice to text2 votes 0 commentaires
Every time I use voice to text on any iOS app, SwiftKey's app opens itself and stays open. It is quite annoying.
How do I make special characters appear above each alphabetical letter? Répondu2 votes 3 commentaires
Hello, I am french, I just upgraded from an Android Smartphone to an iPhone SE 2020 iOS 12, but I cannot configure my Swiftkey keyboard to display the special characters above each alphabetical letter like I did on Android. . I know that special characters are also accessible by pressing the "123" key then the "+ = #" key if I want to use the underscore "_" for example but it's really not practical, whereas on my Android Swiftkey keyboard, I just have to stay and press the "W" key to make the underscore "_"! Can you help me configure my Swiftkey keyboard on my iPhone SE 2020 iOS 12 as on my Android please. I'm placing a screenshot of my Android Swiftkey keyboard where the special characters above the letters I want to appear on my iPhone Swiftkey keyboard are outlined in red.

"remove prediction" doesn't work!2 votes 2 commentairesI'm using SwiftKey 2.8.0 on iOS 13.5.1 and for some odd reason it keeps predicting "Mar" instead of "mar". I tried a few times to remove the capitalized prediction but it doesn't work and I keep getting Mar instead of mar. Any suggestions?
Feature Request: Universal search for gifs, emojis and stickers2 votes 2 commentairesThis feature was requested years ago, but nothing happened. Asking again because this is the sole feature missing from this keyboard.
Quotation mark glitch2 votes 4 commentairesI've had a glitch with swiftkey where often I'll type a word, hit space, type a first quotation mark to begin to type a quote, and it will add the quotation mark to the end of my last typed word instead of after the space I just typed, and then insert a space after the quotation mark. Basically acting as if Im finishing a quoted word/phrase and typing the second quotation mark when I'm actually beginning a quoted word/phrase and typing the first quotation mark. No matter how many times I try again it won't work correctly So say I'm trying to type out: I went to the store and was like "can I get a coffee" One of these two things happen: 1. Type out I went to the coffee shop and was like+space+" > autocorrects to like+"+space > delete the space and quotation mark > try typing like+space+" again > autocorrects again > just deal with it and type out like" can I get a coffee > go back and delete the space before can > insert a space before like Or, 2. Type out I went to the coffee shop and was like+space+" > autocorrects to like+"+space > delete the space and quotation mark > try typing like+space+" again > autocorrects to like+space+"+space > have to type out like " can I get a coffee > go back and delete the space before can It doesn't happen every time, but I'd say 1 in 10 times, which is pretty annoying. Has been happening the whole time I've had swiftkey on ios (since Sept 2019), and happened before then when I had swiftkey for Android. I submitted a bug report months ago but nothing has been fixed :/ Not sure what to do here as I'd prefer to not take any troubleshooting steps that would result in swiftkey forgetting my hundreds of saved words
Possible keyboard size bug after v2.7.1 upgrade: Terminée2 votes 5 commentaires
I just upgraded to v 2.7.1 on my iPhone 5c. This resulted in the SwiftKey keyboard not filling the full width of the screen. (see screen shot below - note the gray region on the left/right edge of the keyboard).
Is it possible to fix this bug in the next release?
[Feature request] Armenian keyboard support in iOS and keyboard layout options for Armenian language in Android2 votes 2 commentaires
Swiftkey, while being a superb app (using both on iOS and Android), does not support my native Armenian on iOS and the keyboard layout options on Android are quite limited.
The major keyboard layouts for Armenian language are Armenian Eastern, Armenian Western and Armenian Phonetic.
Armenian Eastern (used by people in Republic of Armenia):
Armenian Western (used by people in Armenian diaspora):
Armenian Phonetic (used by people lacking computer skills and migrating from the old KDWin software for Windows PC):
I would be very thankful if you implemented these options in the iOS and Android versions of the app. Thank you in advance.
Keyboard acting crazy on iPhone and iPad2 votes 6 commentaires
Lately the keyboard is acting up very often. The following three things have been happening on and off during the last month.
It keeps closing and reopening as I type.
It changes to the regular keyboard making me choose SwiftKey after every word or two.
It is not smooth - after I begin typing a word it gives choices of another word but then resumes the current word.
Correction line2 votes 0 commentaires
I miss the red correction line under misspelled or non-existent words. Like in the standard apple keyboard
One-handed keyboard?2 votes 0 commentaires
Does Swiftkey support one handed keyboard?
If not, why havent Swiftkey added any support for one-handed keyboard? The standard mode is pretty useless on big screen phones such as the iPhone XS max / iPhone Plus modells. Swiping in such width with fullscreen keyboard is pretty annoying, and forces me to use both my hands when texting.
iOS stock theme for swiftkey2 votes 0 commentaires
Just wondering if there's a way to get the iOS stock keyboard theme while using SwiftKey? I've tried playing around with 'design your own theme' but it seems like you can't achieve what I'm looking for since you can't customize the buttons and the background enough.
iOS Trackpad implementation2 votes 2 commentaires
I'm really pleased the trackpad feature has been added to SwiftKey (it's so useful!). However, the way it is implemented in SwiftKey makes it a little less useful - particularly when scrolling up lines of text. The cursor seems to jump to the end of the closest word. Which sounds useful. But actually, because the cursor is jumping around all over the place, it's quite hard to follow. The way the trackpad is implemented in the default keyboard is much more intuitive - the cursor maintains its horizontal location when you scroll up. If it's technically possible, please implement this approach in SwiftKey! Thanks
