Any time I add punctuation (. , ? ! etc), I have to manually space. Is there an option for this? I don't see it in the app settings or keyboard settings.

Can't see text while typing0 votes 3 commentaires
Ever since I updated my iPhone 7, when I'm typing text (only after something else happens on my phone - like it times out) I'm not able to swype down to reveal the text. The back arrow is barely visible, but I know where it's supposed to be and have to go out and come back in to see text again. If I switch to the Apple keyboard, it looks fine. HELP!!!

Nickel dark3 votes 3 commentaires
Please change nickel dark back to how it was. That look was why I used SwiftKey. I've been using SwiftKey for years, back when it was a paid app on Android, and I always used that theme. I'm very disappointed and would like my theme back.

[Duplicate] Cursor Control - Spacebar Répondu10 votes 3 commentaires
I was wondering if in addition to the 3D touch cursor control there could be a cursor control function integrated into the spacebar?
It'd be similar to touch ID in the sense that it would understand the gesture as a distinct one.
It would require a clean swipe to the left or right starting on the spacebar to activate in order to prevent any unwarranted cursor control during multi-word swiping.
I believe it would suit the flowly nature of SwiftKey and be a welcome option for those either:
1) wanting cursor control without the pause 3D touch demands.
2) enables iPhone SE users to have SwiftKey offer another feature stock doesn't provide enhancing the SwiftKey flow optimised phone size.
Cheers for giving this a read either way and love the app guys!
SwiftKey beta code for testflight0 votes 3 commentaires
Hi Ryan, somehow my test profile on testflight got deleted and I've been reverted back to SwiftKey standard from the app store. Is there any way to get back to the iOS beta/ test version of SwiftKey, and what is the developer code that I need to enter into testflight to enable the beta? Thanks
Do Android themes carry over to iOS?0 votes 3 commentaires
I have had SwiftKey on my Galaxy phone for several years and love it. I like changing the themes for Holidays and just for a different look. I have been really happy with SwiftKey. I now have an iphone, downloaded the app from Apple app store and am very dissappointed in it. There are hardly any themes at all for ios and none of them are the same as I had on Android. I don't think the themes from android can go on ios. If there is a way around this, please let me know.

Why SwiftKey hasn't fixed the cursor control issue on non 3D Touch devices yet?7 votes 2 commentaires
We came upon non 3D Touch devices as Apple has completely abandoned the technology, bringing haptic feedback. On devices with small screens, such as the iPhone, is easier to handle the lack of cursor control (although iOS native keyboard does the trick very nicely), but it is terrible on the iPad. SwiftKey is, hands down, the smartest keyboard there is - and it's exactly why it is so hard to understand why they didn't come up with a solution.
New to iOS2 votes 2 commentaires
Hi, new to iOS but previous long term android user and I loved my swiftkey keyboard. Is it me or are there less features? I really liked the arrow keys and long pressing on a letter to get a number or different symbol. Does the iOS version not have these features?. In the menu page, on Android there is a "typing" section where I set these up but missing from iOS??
Thanks in advance
Sync & backup *all* pinned CLIPBOARD clips & keyword shortcuts for them (or at least: optional Import/Export as .txt or .xml) ACROSS phones!0 votes 2 commentaires
I use SwiftKey on multiple phones. Same login / account.
They should all be able to add new clips but also have ability to SEE clips added from different phones (same SwiftKey user!)
I'm speaking about - SYNC.
Our clipboards clips AREN'T BACKED UP AND SYNCED.
I have so many of them set-up. Do u know how much TIME I have spent setting Pinned clipboard clips and shortcuts up, just to lose them all? :(
Please, SwiftKey team, SYNC them.
Or at least, give option to export and import! (XML, TXT, whatever - as long as Import exists, too!)
I lose so much of my hard work because you DON'T backup/sync clipboard content and pinned items and shortcuts ACROSS PHONES, when SwiftKey account is the same...
I once lost my phone and bought another, enabled SwiftKey and NONE OF MY CLIPS were saved. :((((Such a big disappointment!
Please give this HIGH priority, PLEASE.
Kindest regards, Helen
PS. Do you, other fellow SwiftKey users, agree that there should be Backup & Sync (and/or Import / Export) of our Clipboard's clips?
Pinned ones, especially!
Feature Requests for iOS - Make SwiftKey as Great as on Android!9 votes 2 commentaires
Hi Swiftkey Team,
i just switched from Android to iOS and the iOS Stock Keyboard is horrible. I've been using Swiftkey for years (also bought it long time ago) and the usability on Android is awesome :)
When i decided to switch to iOS I was glad to know that swiftkey is available for iOS as well. Sadly the User Experience on iOS is very poor in comparison to your Android Version.
If you could implement the following things, it would make the user experience a lot better:
- Special Characters as second Option for normal characters (best would be the same order as on android)
- seperate comma key
- enhanced QWERTZ Layout with dedicated umlaut keys (öäü)
- Adjustment of longpress duration
- 3D Touch for removel of whole words
- cursor selection through long press on space key
And I would REALLY Love to have the "Classic Dark" Theme back. I found it very helpfull that not every key has its own border, but the keyboard layout is kind of rastered.
Please think about the mentioned things. I am sure many people would love it!
Thank you and Greetings from Germany,

Haptic Feedback iOS4 votes 2 commentaires
Would love to have an option for haptic feedback for SwiftKey iOS. I can't understand why they haven't added that yet, it seems really simple. I don't want to leave SwiftKey because of this, it's such a great keyboard.

New to swift key, will it learn that i don't use capitalization ?0 votes 2 commentaires
Whenever i send a text, i never use capitalization, i only use it when i'm writing a post with multiple sentences. This wasn't a problem on the default ios keyboard as turning off the auto capitalization movies download movies at forum
setting made it never correct my letters to capital ones, but with swift key this only changes the beginning of sentences, not proper nouns like "I". Will this eventually go away as i use the keyboard more and correct the capitalizations myself ?

iOS Trackpad implementation2 votes 2 commentaires
I'm really pleased the trackpad feature has been added to SwiftKey (it's so useful!). However, the way it is implemented in SwiftKey makes it a little less useful - particularly when scrolling up lines of text. The cursor seems to jump to the end of the closest word. Which sounds useful. But actually, because the cursor is jumping around all over the place, it's quite hard to follow. The way the trackpad is implemented in the default keyboard is much more intuitive - the cursor maintains its horizontal location when you scroll up. If it's technically possible, please implement this approach in SwiftKey! Thanks
[Feature Request] Please make special characters visible on the keys3 votes 2 commentaires
I really would like to not have to hit the number key to get special characters and numbers . On my android I could long press a key to get the character or had the option for a number row. In iOS, it's really a pain to have to leave the main keys to just get a character or number. Can you add a number row and make special characters accessible on the letter keys? Thank you
Type halfway+swipe to complete input combination broken since last update Répondu2 votes 2 commentaires
Say for example I'm typing the word 'atmosphere'
Before the last update, I was able to manually type out A, T, then continue to end the word by swiping from M through E. And the word completes.
However.. Now.. If I were to manually type A, T. Then continue to swipe the remaining letters. The A, T will end as 'at' and start a new word with the swiping input from M to E.
This is annoying as I've gotten used to using a combo of half manual type and swiping to complete typing style. It is also one of the reasons I've stuck to SwiftKey! Cos no other swipe keyboards allow this feature.
Please rectify 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Number keys for iOS3 votes 2 commentaires
I keep seeing how adding the number key functionality is not currently possible in iOS. However, I've already seen this in the Touchpad keyboard. I would really love it if SwiftKey would follow suit and add this functionality.

Gmail personalization doesn't work - and does not fail0 votes 2 commentaires
So, I'm trying to teach swiftkey some words in bulk so I don't have to type them all. I send myself an email with the words which I want to be added and then I click the personalise with Gmail. All goes seemingly well, I get 'Last personaliszed: just now", then I try swiping the new words and they are not getting completed. If I try to type them I can see they are not there bc I get the word grayed out ready to be added. Obviously new words were not added.
I don't have the problem with 'personalization failed' most ppl have.
Any suggestions? IMAP is ON, Send mail is on IMAP, tried with another gmail account, same thing.

Marathi is unavailable on iPAD Répondu0 votes 2 commentaires
I use Marathi keyboard on my Sony Android phone. It’s wonderful.
But I feel very sorry that my iPAD, on which I write too much in Marathi, is not so supported.
May I know when this facility would be made available for iOS?
For the love of god, fast commas please! Répondu5 votes 2 commentaires
I have been using SwiftKey on Android for years, switched to iPhone a few days ago. Very unhappy with the ways comma work here. To insert a comma and a space after it, I have to hit the "special symbols" button, then comma, and then the space bar. Alternatively, I have to press and hold the "." key, then move to the comma, then hit space. That is 3 keystrokes, whereas in Android it only took one (you have the comma button on the default keyboard to the left of the space bar, and an empty space is automatically added once you hit it). Likewise, it is also annoying that no space is added after hitting the "." button, however at least this can be fixed by using a double-tap on the space bar to create the dot instead.
I understand SwiftKey is trying to imitate the way the native iOS keyboard works in this regard, but frankly, that setup is just horrible, so please at least give us the option to customize. A comma is a button that is too frequently required not to be on the main keyboard, and in at least 90% of cases, when you type a comma, you want an empty space behind it, so that really should be automatic.
