When will Korean be available for iOS. It's been available for Android for years now.
Nickel dark3 votes 3 commentaires
Please change nickel dark back to how it was. That look was why I used SwiftKey. I've been using SwiftKey for years, back when it was a paid app on Android, and I always used that theme. I'm very disappointed and would like my theme back.
Possible keyboard size bug after v2.7.1 upgrade:2 votes 3 commentaires
I just upgraded to v 2.7.1 on my iPhone 5c. This resulted in the SwiftKey keyboard not filling the full width of the screen. (see screen shot below - note the gray region on the left/right edge of the keyboard).
Is it possible to fix this bug in the next release?
iOS 13 iPhone Xr editing in mail app uses up too much screen space2 votes 0 commentaires
Using Swiftkey in the iOS 13 Mail app with iPhone Xr, the keyboard now takes up so much screen space that there's not much room for editing the text! I've had to switch off the number row (which I really like) to save space, because the new iOS editing bar/row (whatever it's called), can't be hidden like it can with the native keyboard. Any ideas? Anyone agree this is an issue?
Also, although I now only have Swiftkey enabled, so that there is no Globe/Global key at the bottom, there is still about 1cm of empty space on the screen between the bottom of the space bar and the home bar/line at the bottom of the screen. Is there any way this space could be reclaimed, I wonder?
Thanks for any ideas or comments.
iOS 13.2.2 but same issue since iOS 13
Swiftkey won't stay default since update to iOS 132 votes 1 commentaire
Ever since my XS max update to iOS 13, the keyboard default won't stay constant. I've moved the top keyboard around within Settings General Keyboards, but SwiftKey at the top typically will not come up as default. Worked fine prior to the iOS updates. Not sure what to do.
New to iOS2 votes 2 commentaires
Hi, new to iOS but previous long term android user and I loved my swiftkey keyboard. Is it me or are there less features? I really liked the arrow keys and long pressing on a letter to get a number or different symbol. Does the iOS version not have these features?. In the menu page, on Android there is a "typing" section where I set these up but missing from iOS??
Thanks in advance
Keyboard acting crazy on iPhone and iPad2 votes 6 commentaires
Lately the keyboard is acting up very often. The following three things have been happening on and off during the last month.
It keeps closing and reopening as I type.
It changes to the regular keyboard making me choose SwiftKey after every word or two.
It is not smooth - after I begin typing a word it gives choices of another word but then resumes the current word.
Correction line2 votes 0 commentaires
I miss the red correction line under misspelled or non-existent words. Like in the standard apple keyboard
One-handed keyboard?2 votes 0 commentaires
Does Swiftkey support one handed keyboard?
If not, why havent Swiftkey added any support for one-handed keyboard? The standard mode is pretty useless on big screen phones such as the iPhone XS max / iPhone Plus modells. Swiping in such width with fullscreen keyboard is pretty annoying, and forces me to use both my hands when texting.
Telugu keyboard for ios2 votes 3 commentaires
I like the Telugu keyboard a lot in Android. I would appreciate if it can be made available for IOS also
iOS stock theme for swiftkey2 votes 0 commentaires
Just wondering if there's a way to get the iOS stock keyboard theme while using SwiftKey? I've tried playing around with 'design your own theme' but it seems like you can't achieve what I'm looking for since you can't customize the buttons and the background enough.
iOS Trackpad implementation2 votes 2 commentaires
I'm really pleased the trackpad feature has been added to SwiftKey (it's so useful!). However, the way it is implemented in SwiftKey makes it a little less useful - particularly when scrolling up lines of text. The cursor seems to jump to the end of the closest word. Which sounds useful. But actually, because the cursor is jumping around all over the place, it's quite hard to follow. The way the trackpad is implemented in the default keyboard is much more intuitive - the cursor maintains its horizontal location when you scroll up. If it's technically possible, please implement this approach in SwiftKey! Thanks

If I try to input the short word We to start a sentence, it gets switched to just a capital E. Any suggestions?

Hey, SwiftKey, could you explain to your users why there's no Ukrainian language in the app? Thank you.
[Feature request] Support more than 2 languages on iOS2 votes 1 commentaire
Hey guys, is it not possible to create the exact same for iOS as for Android? I do need 4 languages English German turkish Arabic, at least 3 and it would be amazing if you just create the same experience for iOS users as Android. I swapped from android to iOS and missing few things badly.... Should be possible

Type halfway+swipe to complete input combination broken since last update Répondu2 votes 2 commentaires
Say for example I'm typing the word 'atmosphere'
Before the last update, I was able to manually type out A, T, then continue to end the word by swiping from M through E. And the word completes.
However.. Now.. If I were to manually type A, T. Then continue to swipe the remaining letters. The A, T will end as 'at' and start a new word with the swiping input from M to E.
This is annoying as I've gotten used to using a combo of half manual type and swiping to complete typing style. It is also one of the reasons I've stuck to SwiftKey! Cos no other swipe keyboards allow this feature.
Please rectify 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Arrow Keys in SwiftKey for iPad2 votes 0 commentaires
Hi, I'd like to know if it's possible to have the arrow keys in the SwiftKey app for iPad. I use SwiftKey in my Android Phone and I love this feature! it would be great to have it on iOS as well. Thank you in advance.
[Duplicate] How to disable the new Toolbar? Répondu2 votes 3 commentaires
I love SwiftKey and have used it for years. However I hate the new Toolbar feature because it now means the three predictive word suggestions become truncated and not fully visible due to the space taken up by the + symbol. For example a suggestion of 'appear' shows up as 'A...ear'. This is pretty pointless given these words are supposed to be suggestions but can't actually be read. Previously if a long word was predicted / suggested then the font would just be reduced to fit into the space which was great but now it's just useless.
Anyone know of a way to disable the Toolbar? If not can SwiftKey look at making this new feature an option rather than a mandated feature?
Please allow us to opt out of tap map2 votes 1 commentaire
I love using your keyboard, the ability to swipe and personalized predicting words and themes but the more I use your keyboard the more I feel like I’m fighting against the tap map AI to the point where I constantly make typos and have to rely on the autocorrect to compose text. I’ve recently reverted to the factory keyboard because I find that I make less mistakes and type more efficiently. If you could please allow us to opt out of the tap map, it would be an immensely appreciated addition to your app.

The Bengali language is missing on the iOS version. I am familiar with the Swiftkey Android and interested to use the same on my iOS. Is that available or has any tricks to enable?
Can't use Japanese on iPhone, what a drag!2 votes 0 commentaires
I've been a happy user of SwiftKey for years on my Android phone, never had an issue with it, always seamless and easy to use. I've just switched to a new iPhone and Japanese is not offered for iPhone users, this is surprising to say the least and very disappointing. I was able to simply swipe the spacebar to the right to change between English & Japanese which was perfect. I am a native English speaker but live in Japan and need to text, search, etc. in both languages. I find it hard to believe that SwiftKey does not offer Japanese for iPhone but only for Android. I'm going to have to look to another app that can do that for me, too bad really.
SwiftKey flicker/lag2 votes 1 commentaire
Since a few updates SwiftKey started to flicker, i.e. when I pick the text input area in an app (doesn't matter which one, same behaviour all across the board) SwiftKey shows up, quickly vanishes and then shows up again. If I start typing before it vanishes nothing happens until it reappears. That's annoying, but I can stand it if it weren't for..
Sometimes SwiftKey doesn't reappear, but the standard iOS keyboard. So I have to manually switch keyboard again.
Quite annoying, frankly. A fix, please?
swiftkey will remember zero slang, abbreviations, profanity, shortcuts, etc...ever since downloading IOS 112 votes 6 commentaires
it's worked fine for over a year before this.
i click on the words in the left box...it does not help
i did notice it wants to sync to my email and facebook, which i don't type the way i text...but i didn't seem to have a choice in that matter.

Does SwiftKey sell content we type using their keyboard to advertisers?2 votes 0 commentaires
Perhaps this is a coincidence, but it appears that topics in private messages I am sending are appearing in advertisements shown to me in other apps.
Does SwiftKey sell content we type using their keyboard to advertisers?
For example, I typed an iMessage about an Omega watch and later that same week I started seeing lots of ads for Omega watches in the Wall Street Journal iPhone app. I have not searched for Omega watches in any search engine, just typed about them in a private iMessage.
