user login email id : ammazer.zuhair@gmail.com
Hi there,
Where is it you are entering the user name and password? Signing in should be a single click with Google? Can you add some screen shots?
i'm having the same problem.
i'm at the swiftkey keyboard settings
swiftkey cloud> sign in with google
all the time it has been single sign on since i'm using the same google ID
however, this time it brings me to the google page and asks for my ID and password.
after keying that in, it goes to a black screen with Processing...
screenshots attached
Are you signed into your device with Google? You shouldn't even be taken to that screen. When you click to login, it should show you a list if all emails that have been signed into on the phone or if there is only one, it should just sign in.
To confirm, do you have an official gmail account logged into on the phone?
yup.
i do have it signed in.
never had this problem previously as i've been using the cloud function for awhile now.
Is your device rooted or modded in anyway? Have you downloaded any apps that block/manage data?
I have same problem...
Hello,
I have the exact same situation as "rvdran". I get the same Google Sign in window after selecting my main Google account from the drop down list of the two I have signed in on my device. After entering my e-mail, password and 2-step verification code I get stuck at the "Processing..." window.
- SwiftKey Cloud at that point is added in my Google account applications permissions (I have removed it and repeated the process)
- I have used SwiftKey Cloud before / it still works on one of my other devices!
Nexus 5, Android 6.0.0 / rooted
SwiftKey 4.4.6.275
My other device is Samsung Galaxy S2 - rooted as well, runs the same SwiftKey version on CyanogenMod 10.2-20140126 ... and it works but I would rather not try disabling and re-enabling the Cloud function...
Any help?
Hello,
what I can have in my mind is maybe some android phones are without the google services frame, such as some android phones in Asia market, especially in China. And some custom ROMs are built without google services, too.
So that a google account sign-in window pops up is normal.
Can you provide your phone model, Android version, and if it's a custom ROM?
But I see no reason why on kaboom 's Nexus it won't work either. Maybe you should update your SwiftKey to the latest version.

My SwiftKey is at the latest version (free app of the day by Amazon Appstore version)
that app is over a year old and no longer supported. Please uninstall and download the app from the Google Play Store -- it's now free so no worried about paying.
Same problem here, black screen with processing... Moto x 2014

In this case, I'd recommend escalating this away from peer support to actual support. Please go to support.swiftkey.com and submit a bug report to get further assistance.
Yep, did the trick. Thank you.
It would be ever so helpful to have that information in the Support section of the SwiftKey website, as currently it shows step by step instructions for an interface that no longer exists.
Very helpful.
I factory reset my phone 3 times, uninstalled and re-installed SwiftKey from Amazon (where I purchased it as an early adopter, and have installed from numerous times) before even discovering the vip SwiftKey forum.
Shame on you for having a brilliant product and crummy support.
Do you mind pointing me to the link or area you found? Our support section, we feel is pretty up to date with current information. support.swiftkey.com
I did a search for Amazon on our current sites search box and it has a list of questions regarding Amazon https://support.swiftkey.com/hc/en-us/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&query=amazon&commit=Search
We strive to have great support, so I want to make sure we have everything well documented.
I prefer to use Amazon Appstore for my app downloads and I ran into this same issue. I knew I had the latest version offered because I just got a new Nexus 6p for Christmas and I installed SwiftKey from Amazon yesterday. I had to uninstall the app and reinstall it from Google Play to resolve this issue, which indicates that SwiftKey needs to update their app on Amazon Appstore so that the people who download from Amazon don't run into this problem.
Amazon does not support the new stuff we have done with our app, this is why it has not been updated. We have since pulled the app from the Amazon app store. Since you already own it, we won't take it away from you, but just know it's a very old version.
Hi Pad / SwiftKey team,
I'm having the same problem trying to sign in with gmail account on iPad air.
SwiftKey app says there's a problem connecting to the internet, but internet is working fine. I'm on it now and have been all morning. Previously I had SwiftKey set up on Note3 and iPad air 2, where it was working fine. Now I would like to have all that stored data synced to this device, ie current iPad air. Can you help me please?
Second issue is that although SwiftKey is remembering new words that I'm inputting on current device, it won't predict my email address despite me having entered it multiple times. How do I get it to remember my email address?
With thanks, Mark
@bvhara Please see this main thread about sync
Email predictions is a known issue and will be fixed in a future update.
Thanks Prad. How can I get notified when issue is fixed?
Click on the link in my previous reply, and follow that thread. I will update it when the fix has been rolled out.
