[Feature Request] Free resize for width
I would like to request a free resize option for SwiftKey's width. There are enough height options to suit almost any taste, but the only available options for width are full, thumb and compact.
This would be most useful in undocked mode on phablets in landscape mode and tablets. Still I think the option would be good in docked mode as well. Some phablets are sized such that "full" width is uncomfortable for one finger typing, but "compact" is cramped. It would also help on Galaxy S7 Edge portrait mode, where "full" size extends keys into the curved "edge screen" area, where it's too easy to hit them accidentally.
I think a good way to implement this would be a 4th option under layout, "custom". Selecting it would bring up draggable resize bars around the keyboard and an accept button.
Hi,
Thanks for reposting to our new forum.

width adjustment is really needed. I switched from lumia 640xl to OP6 and noticed that all android keyboards are disaster because of the width, so you have either full width or thumb layout. Windows Phone layout was the best for big screen devices. Please bring some width adjustmen options.
+1 for this request. I'm using is on a 10 inch Huawei tablet and the full width keyboard is pretty uncomfortable for writing. And the compact mode has a bug, it dows not show the cursor keys.
2 years on and this simple feature still hasn't been implemented as well as other keyboard options. My Asus Zenpad 3s 10 (Z500M) default keyboard layout options have full width & height resizing, and one can place it where its most comfortable too.
So it can be done, but it seems you don't want to enable it, and until then, I'll continue using the default option which does allow me to adjust the keyboard how I want it.
