[Feature Request] Move Cursor with Gestures
Con rispostaI like the flow and I like gestures. Gestures have an option to delete by swiping to the left ⬅, and to hide keyboard by sweeping down ⬇, but I'd like to see a feature where we could move pointer, just by sliding our finger on the keyboard.

Thanks for the suggestion, Adem! We're certainly looking into more ways SwiftKey can make typing convenient for our users, so I'll pass this feedback along to the team. While I can't say if/when this might be implemented, I'll keep you posted should anything come up! Let us know if you think of any other features that might be useful for SwiftKey to have.
They have this in the beta for iOS now. Would like to see this for Android.

I would love to see this in Android as well.
This is a feature on gboard, where you long click the spacebar and it allows you to move the cursor. Would really like to see this on swiftkey.
I can't stress how important I think this feature is as well.
I really hope SwiftKey will implement this feature as soon as possible.
Would make this keyboard number one again!
Thanks a lot in advance.
This feature is essential for a lot of people. I don't know with it is not implemented yet!!
After few years of complaining, the Google keyboard finally implemented cursor gesture on the spacebar, but incomplete because only left/right is possible, not up/down. That's why I still use Swiftkey because it has optional cursor keys, which is not as good as cursor gesture, but still better than nothing...
It would be great to enhance the second option in gesture input to enable left/down and up/down for moving the cursor (on the spacebar only) + swipe left to delete a word + down to hide the keyboard.
Bump people, let's make them see this!
Saw on gboard and would love this in SwiftKey. Would make the keyboard even more perfect!
Go go go! :)
I would love the see this feature implemented in Swiftkey.
I would switch back from gboard if this feature was added!
Omg yes guys! Thank you on help!!!! :)
+1 request for this feature. I'm really considering using gboard for this feature alone. Cant believe that swiftkey doesnt have this feature for so long. gboard had it for quite some time now. Please please add it.
I totally agree. Moving the cursor is a pain in the ass without the spacebar swipe. I'll be switching gboard as I can't do without it. 😘✌️👌
It would be nice if it was a swypr on the space bar and on all keyboard.
Would be an awesome feature if implemented
Let's goooooo! :)
Yes, I love the ability to move the cursor all around (up/down and left/right) by dragging my finger around when I use my wife's iOS keyboard. I switched to Gboard because of a left/right version of this feature on the spacebar. I would come back in a heartbeat if I could get the drag-all-around version of this feature. In fact, I was just searching to see if it had been added when I found this post!
Pretty please, add it.
Thank you, bump! :)
If this is a beta feature in iOS what's the hassle of making it available for Android? It's been A YEAR since last dev reply, amazing...
There's still hope, I guess :(
SwiftKey you could at least give us an update.... Is it too hard to implement in Android or what's holding you back?! 😂
My current solution is to set my display density to 480 dpi, this way I get up, down and sideways arrows in the middle of the screen, in the numbers view (when clinking the (123) button in the button left.
Another solution is to install Cursor Coltrol or Typing Coltrol which lets you control the cursor by the volume buttons.....
Either way, it's not near as intuitive as it CAN be.....
SwiftKey, plesee do yourself and thousands of people a favor by making this incredible app nothing less, but truly perfect ;)
All the best from Denmark :)
Yes. It's sad but, there's still hope. It's a silly thing that we have t wait so long.
All the best from Croatia :)
They want us to wait another decade. Sad..

This really needs to happen, I keep switching back to gboard because of the lack of this specific feature. But SwiftKey really has the best predictions...
So the current situation is a shame

Exactly same as Philippe - I check SwiftKey every so often for this feature, but always have to switch back to gboard. Sigh.
Please add this feature
Add cursor control already, so silly that it's not available.
