Suggestion: if I keep swiping the same word multiple times, try giving a different suggestion
If I keep swiping in a word and then deleting the suggested word, please don't keep putting in the exact same word every time; obviously I'm trying to type in a different word from that one being suggested or else I wouldn't have deleted it the last three times! Suggest the nearest alternative. Thanks!
Hi,
I think that's why we introduced the new flow method. You can choose among the 3 predictions.

Why would you assume that those three suggestions cover all the possibilities? They don't or else I would have chosen one of them instead of inputting the same word again and again. Times like these completely negate any of the time saved using a swiping keyboard app in the first place.
In my personal experience, if I Flow 3 times and I don't get the prediction I want among these 3 suggestions, that means the word I type is rarely used by myself or the word is very personalized or complicated. And in that case I choose typing instead.
You mentioned "to suggest the nearest alternative", I believe 3 suggestions is the top 3 nearest. 3 is not "all the possibilities" for sure, but they're the nearest. No keyboard can cover "all possibilities".
In order to get a better understanding of your issue, I suggest you send us more details, like: which word you Flowed and what did you get in SK. A screen recording is highly recommended, it represents the issue more clearly.
If I deleted a word and didn't choose either of the three alternatives then that shows that none of those four words were the word I was trying to enter. It really, really should go without saying that if at any time the desired word was suggested, I would have used it and moved on. My point is that the system should learn from the available input, not keep making the same mistake repeatedly.
I don't know what words results in this problem so a submission of video will have to wait until the next one.
That's true, our current Neural Tech is not smart enough to detect deleting and to prevent the same error. But maybe for now you should treat it just as a machine, not a person.
Eh, Okay...But based on what word you submitted this feedback may I ask?
