Also, I don't use the flow option of swiping over the space. It's faster just to lift.

    Hi John,

Before replying to your well written suggestions. May I know your phone is Android or iOS? Because I saw you mentioned Apple product.

    Thanks

HTC one m9 on Android 6.0.

I have found a great workaround to some issues is to set the long press delay to almost zero. It's very workable that way.

One other issue is the forums being in transition apparently.

*I also have trouble accessing the side menu through my phone case. It also shrinks and grows which can make it even harder to access.

Yes, we changed the platform of forum in February. Sorry for the inconvenience.
    So, may I resume :
    1. auto space of punctuations is not very convenient #good point, I have some difficulties myself sometimes.
    2. Backspace to delete a whole word. # for this I am less sure, because what if the user just wants to change some letters? For example, to change "difficulty" to "difficulties", delete some letters would be faster than deleting the whole then retype it.

3.Top and bottom bar # well, first time to hear that, because I hear often that users complain the space bar (bottom bar) should be larger.

    4. More suggestions on the prediction bar. # maybe it could help. But SwiftKey is always seeking the way of "get the word you want with less taps and accuracy". I guess in your case, SwiftKey is not smart enough to suggest you the word you want in the three predictions? Or you have a particular reason?

    5. The long-press map. # it's always something hard to "get used to" while starting to use a new keyboard app. The long-press is different from all keyboards, I understand your concern.

HTC M9 has a decent display panel, but maybe you should be careful about setting long-press duration to zero (touch latency), it may cause some other access problems. It happens often with new users, so I need to tell you that based on my moderation experience.

Last thing, about the hub menu key, yes, I agree with you, hard to access. I believe we passed this message to the dev team, (several other users told us too) they are working on it.

Thank you for your suggestions and the time to tell us. There's no bad ideas, every idea is worthy to be discussed. I was telling you my personal opinion, and it does not represent the opinion of SwiftKey team and their development decisions. Thank you for choosing SwiftKey!

I registered here just to make a suggestion that I found in this topic too.

I'm an Android user. I really think that top and bottom bar are too tall. A tool to tweak the size of the top and bottom bar separated from the rest of the keyboard would be nice.

I'm a long time user of SwiftKey, and love it. I have one suggestion - once a user has downloaded (or purchased in my case) the themes, they should be removed from the gallery. It would make it easier to know which ones I've downloaded and which ones are new.

    Hi,
Add the incognito and normal mode change in single option. It was removed in the recent version. If that is not possible, please let me know where to download, the Older version of SwiftKey.

    Thanks

Would be nice if had the option to use the + bar as emoji prediction like swiftmoji had 😊 it's the only thing missing on swiftkey for me!

Please add a minimize button to quickly minimize the keyboard. Maybe placed in the upper rightmost area.

I love the app, but it has one very annoying feature. I'm in Australia, where our date format is dd/MM/yyyy. To get this format within Android, I must nominate English (United Kingdom). But when I do this, the default SwiftKey currency is pounds (£). I can type dollars ($) by holding down the "x" key then sliding to the end. Being able to nominate the default currency symbol within SwiftKey itself would be really good. Can this be done?

Please smoothen the trail after swipe type. Gboard and other keyboards have smooth trails after typing while SwiftKey doesn't.
