How to stop app from providing only capitalized version of Word (just like that! ) mid-sentance
Does it all the time when it should only do it at the beginning of the sentence. Pain in the butt. Thanks

Sorry to hear about this issue, Juntjoo. The next time something like this occurs for you, try pressing and holding the culprit word to delete it. I've found that if I'm capitalizing a word myself at a beginning of a sentence, sometimes that word appears capitalized later on, even if not at the beginning. Hopefully this will remedy the issue for a bit until we can work on an actual fix.
Thanks. Yeah, that's what I do but then I have to type it in again in lowercase to save it. And it doesn't look to be unique to particular words, just a behavior of the app. Idk
I've seen the same kind of behaviour and am pretty sure the word was first memorized when it was entered capitalized. Works great for words like SwiftKey, bad for normal words.
Hi, I saw that this issue was brought up awhile ago but would just like to add that I have also encountered this issue very often especially when I'm using the LINE app. I'm quite sure this is not the case where the word was learnt when it was capitalized. Cos even after I long tap to remove the capitalized prediction it still comes back as capitalized no matter how many times I remove. One thing I noticed is if my letter "i" is small caps, the following words will be capitalized.
Seems to happen when I type a new word as the first word in a sentence. The dictionary does not realize that it is not a proper noun, just the first word in the sentence.
This happens to me using voice-to-text. One example is when I said something about something being on "the edge," with those words in the middle of a sentence, and they were capitalized. It can't be because I have used those words capitalized in any sentence and the dictionary remembered them. Maybe it comes from something in a dictionary in the SwiftKey cloud that someone else used. But this happens routinely, and it is really, really tiresome. The value of voice to text to me is that I don't have to stare at the screen to see if the word that I say is being entered correctly. I use it a lot for texting while driving through Bluetooth because Texas now has a no-texting law. But I still have to look at the screen to see what words are capitalized in the middle of sentences. I just wish I could figure out what's causing it and do something to stop it!
