Language indicator not working

The language indicator text in the space bar has started showing only "en" when using English. It used to read "English" and still shows the correct full name of other languages I have loaded.

    Hi Richard G can you please confirm if this happens with English (US), (UK) or another one? Thanks.

    I am using English (US). All that shows is 'en' on the space bar
