If you clear your cache and data and do the setup again and the app can work again. But don't forget to submit your feedback when the app crashes, it's te way to the developer to fix the app without wipe your configuration and start over again. In my case worked but cannot sync with my data from others app like Gmail or Twitter
I signed back into my swiftkey account and my info was restored, but the comment above is correct, submit the crash feedback so the app will be fixed. I'm sure devs are aware by now, but we should not have to do these things to make it work, and I'm sure they'll have a fix update very soon.
Thanks for the help, it's worked! But my theme wasn't saved and my data wasn't restored, just able to log back into my account. Bit of a bummer, but at least the app works again. Will send the feedback!
Soon they will be able to release a fix for this kind of problem, just remember, submit your feedback and don't forget to check the box for sending logs also from your phone/tablet. It's necessary, remember that we are in a Beta app program and this things can happens anytime.

Constant crashing on Samsung S9 plus. Had to disable and switch keyboards ...which has been difficult using since I'm used to Swiftkey
Just woke up to mine crashing constantly. Android 9 on a Pixel 2 XL
Just clear the data and cache. Its should work

Cleared the data and cache, worked great. Just had to log back into the app and all my info is there. 😁
Actually Gboard is behaving better than Swiftkey, I'll use it for a month, and if it doesn't crash, I will uninstall Swiftkey.

Same issue with crashing, can't open the app either. Can someone explain, for the noobs like me, how to clear the cache?
Go into your settings and choose your apps, go to the swiftkey beta app and hit storage then you'll see cache and storage.
I cleared my cache and that didn't work in its own, you'll have to clear storage also.

Although now the Gmail personalisation isn't working.
They will release an update fix soon that should restore all of that. Sometimes these things happen.
