    I had the same problem, though for a year or so!

    At first, it guessed everything right!
    Now it accept numbers and switch arouns several words. So annoying...

    Need a solution or alternatives.

    I noticed this happens to my keyboard as well after almost every app update. I usually like to explore issue fixes on my own prior to contacting support (probably not the best idea but 9 times out 10 the fixes I find work).

    Try this if you wish...

     

    Open the apps option under settings in your smart phone. Find the Swift Keyboard app, click on it and then click on storage. Clear cache and then back out of that menu and force stop the Swift Keyboard app. I have not and do not intend on clicking on delete data, only cache. Once complete, open an app that auto expands your keyboard and an auto pop up should ask you if you want to use the stock keyboard or the Swift Keyboard app. Select Swift.

     

    Then on your Swift Keyboard, do the following:

     

    If you haven't already done so, try opening the settings menu on your swift keyboard and then click on the additional settings option to open the full app settings menu. Under the keyboard section, click on Typing and then click on Typing & Autocorrect.

    Check if any of your settings here have been changed after the update and change them back to your original settings (if you ever changed them at all for your own personalization). I would explore the other menu options with available settings here as well to see if the update has changed any other settings you may have had personalized.

    Once complete, back out of this menu section to the main page. Under the Keyboard Menu, click on Account, then click on Personalization.

    If you have used this option in the past, I suggest having the keyboard learn again from any social application you used before. Once completed, back out of this option and go back to the account option in the keyboard section. Click on backup & sync and do a manual backup & sync.

     

    Once this is done, reopen the swift keyboard application and it should work again. It did for me at least. Good luck.
