    Hi, to enable/disable Backup & Sync:

    1. Open the Microsoft SwiftKey app from your device.
    2. Tap ‘Account’.
    3. Next tap ‘Backup & Sync’.
    4. Check/uncheck ‘Backup & Sync.

    Do you not see the option there?

    Hi, I see the option to backup and sync but only what I am now typing in the new device. I want the option to import my previous predictions and words to my new device and I don't see one. It looks like I would need to start from scratch and if that is the case I can might as well just use the samsung keyboard.

    Hi, do you still have your old device? Did you have backup and sync enabled on your previous device or are you not seeing the option?

    I'm seeing the option, but when I try to backup and sync, and select my Google account, a message pops up saying my account can't be verified automatically, please sign in.  So then when I enter my password to my account a message pops up saying the site can't be reached. Then an error message pops up after saying "There seems to have been an unexpected problem, please try again in a moment." And I have been trying for a while now.

    This makes no sense to me. The same Google account is working perfectly on other apps on both my old and new device including the swiftkey app on the new device.

    Hi Bella, thank you for clarifying. Are you signed into Google on your old device?

    It would help to see a video of the issue, could you please record one and send it via https://aka.ms/sk-support?

    I just found a thread via the below link as well from two years ago. Everyone there appeared to have the same issue and it never got resolved. I think I will just let go at this point. This is too much work for something designed to make my life easier.
