Use with Moto stylus
Greetings, I have a Motorola G Stylus 5G 2022. I switched over from Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G and did not have this issue with the Samsung, The issue I'm having is, whenever I am using the stylus and want to type with text, the stylus' "software" interferes with my use of SwiftKey and they don't seem to play well together. I use the stylus most of the time because touch screens don't like my fingers for some reason. That's a universal condition among all touch screens and I've looked into it and there doesn't seem to be a remedy so I use screens that work with styli.
What is happening is, if I leave the stylus in its bay, SwiftKey works normally but my fingers don't. When I remove the stylus or if I already have it out and I tap a text input box, the software for the stylus (I think) pops up a little tab on my screen with a few options such as space, delete, draw, enter, language, & a small icon for the keyboard, and a couple of others that I can't recall at the moment. In order to enter text into any input box, be it local to the phone or in a browser, app, etc. I have to tap on the little keyboard icon and it brings up SwiftKey however it's buggy as all hell. It has very strange and irratic behavior which makes typing very difficult, it's very annoying, frustrating, and just plain undesirable. I have been using SwiftKey for a long time and I like it for a few features it has that I can't find in any other keyboard app.
I have gone through Motorola settings, phone settings, and the stylus settings on my phone many many times doing trial and error adjustments to try and stop it but so far, nothing works so I am asking here if anyone has had similar experiences using SwiftKey with phones that have included styli, particularly Motorola G Stylus models and if there is a way to stop this from happening because it's really interfering with my ability to use my device in a desirable manner.
I tried to get a screenshot of the little box that pops up but as soon as I touch the screen with 3 fingers to capture, it disappeared but comes back when I try to type. I did a small screen record of what's happening but not sure how or where to post it for anyone here to view.
