I experience a quirk when using SwiftKey beta (or non beta) with Talon for Android twitter client on an AOSP based nougat rom.

When quoting a tweet, the typing cursor on screen stays on the 2nd line on the very left side. It's very off-putting as I think I'm typing on that second line but the text moves to the top line when pressing space for the next word. This doesn't occur with other keyboards. 

While using swiftKey, I sometimes get a very strange auto suggetion, that predicts "davidstockmanscontracorner.com" (see in picture).

I dont know this site nor have i ever visited it before.

I have noticed this problem before, then performed a complete factory reset of the phone but i still get this suggestion which feels very strange (no backup form google used either).

Google did not really provide a solution and it also does not seem like a prominent problem.

What is wrong here ?

With the latest update, (beta user), the main symbols on the keyboard have stopped function. When a key press is held, the symbol pops up, and appears to work perfectly. But when you let go, it does NOT insert the symbol. If I open the symbol drawer (123) they work fine, it only affects long key press symbols.

The issue is intermittent, and restarting the phone resolves the issue for awhile, but eventually will still do it again.

How can I turn off the feature which adds a space after every predicted word I select, or punctuation mark? It should only insert a space if I then decide to add another word. Having to delete excess spaces at the ends of things, or sometimes after the "#" in a hash tag, is really getting old quickly.

I have bee using swiftkey for years and there is this one bug that is annoying. Some words auto capitalize in the prediction in the middle of the sentence. I am using S7 edge. I have already cleared and deleted my account history and data to start anew. Despite this the bug is still coming back.

I switched from Android to iOS earlier this year, and since then I've loved having swiftkey on iOS, but one massive problem I have is I absolutely LOATHE the iOS keyboard, and every time Swiftkey does a bug fix update it forces me to use the iOS keyboard and when I press and hold the globe to try to switch back to Swiftkey it says '(null)Swiftkey'

Does anyone know why Swiftkey is going 'null' or unusable after EVERY bugfix update? my iOS is updated to 10.1.1 as of today.... Is there a setting I have to redo? As far as I know Swiftkey has full access permissions as required....

EDIT: Nevermind, I guess iOS 10.1.1 was the issue... as soon as it finished updating SK is back... Thanks!

Will SwiftKey Keyboard app ever use less RAM and consume less battery than now?

It's massive battery drinker because of its ability to use a lot of RAM. Will this ever change?

Long version:

I have recently changed of Google Account, so I wanted to know if it is possible to migrate all my data, being it keyboard dictionary, my tap map, etcetera, move all that to my new google account. I actually had already deleted this email account and only then realised I lost all my data for SwiftKey, so I had to open a special request for Google to recover my account from their archive servers, however, I would really like not to have a separate google account just for SwiftKey.

How can I add a specific/custom emoji prediction? For example, whenever I type in the name of my dog I want SwiftKey to suggest/predict the dog emoji for my dog's name (see picture), just like SwiftKey predicts the dog emoji whenever I type in the word "dog".

It's when the keyboard sometimes fails to pop up when switching to iMessage. Currently iMessage has to be quit and re-launched for the keyboard to pop up.

I had a Samsung Centura with Stright Talk and less than a week a go I cancelled service and bout a Galaxy S$ with Verizon and ported over the same number.

Is there a way SwiftKey's predeictive text history from the old phone can be transferred to the new one so i don't have to train this one all over again?

The swipe functionality on SwiftKey has gotten worse each update. it's getting less accurate than before. Being able to swipe word or even a sentence is very frustrating. SwiftKey needs to make the ability to swipe each word or sentence less effortless and more accurate. SwiftKey needs to be able to allow the user to swipe each word or sentence without having to be very accurate at swiping a word or sentence. Prediction typing is flawless on SwiftKey yet swiping word or sentence still needs a lot of work. The Google keyboard swipe functionality far surpass SwiftKey Flow. it's better at recognizing each word or a sentence using swipe. However, no keyboard out there is better than SwiftKey word predictions. Please, make the swipe (SwiftKey Flow) more accurate and less effortless. It's getting more and more frustrating to swipe each word or sentence on SwiftKey. The user has to be very very accurate just swipe a word or sentence.

Is there a way to prevent SwiftKey from learning a word, and not popping it up as a suggestion?  I don't want SwiftKey recording passwords which I type into Password Safe.  And I don't necessarily want it to remember every single URL I visit (ahem.)

I'm a huge fan of SwiftKey and have been using it off and on since it's earliest days. However, one little thing causes me endless frustration.

I use Google+ a lot. Google+ uses "_", "*" and "-" for formatting. SwiftKey insists and very aggressively putting spaces after - and removing spaces before _.

_ in particular really frustrates me. With the spaces after - I can just tap backspace and continue, but with_ a battle ensues involving careful hunt and peck to tap just the right spot.

I don't mind sacrificing all auto spacing but of course I'd prefer to just change those in particular. Any hope for me?

on Monday I've upgraded my Nexus 5 to Android 5.0 Lollipop official factory image (clean installation). Now, when I recieve a message via WhatsApp and

hit quick reply in lock screen WhatsApp notification, SwiftKey go crazy and starts to "flicker". There is no other solution but rebooting the phone, which is

very annoying. I've switched therefore to default Android keyboard and everything works fine. Could anyone confirm that issue?

I am a heavy user of the Android keyboard. I am trying out an iPhone 6 plus and miss the ability to resize the keyboard. I also want the option to add the arrow keys and number bar.

I love the swiftkey keyboard and have been using it since the first day ios8 came out. But there are some really annoying problems which needs to be resolved on ios.

One very annoying issue is that the keyboard just refuses to show up on the spotlight screen. Please see the image below. This does not always happen but I would say it happens more than average number of times I attempt to use the spotlight search.

I hope you will fix this in the next update. Even the time it takes for the keyboard to load it too much. The last update did say that you have fixed the high load time but I dont see much difference.

I'm a fan from my Android days, and I absolutely LOVE having SwiftKey on my iPhone now. However, I'm a big user of custom keyboard shortcuts in iOS. I can't seem to get them to work with the SwiftKey keyboard, though. Anyone else have this trouble? Is it just a native iOS limitation?

I was using SwiftKey yesterday and it was working fine. However when I went to use it today, it wouldn't appear on the screen. I have reinstalled the app and the keyboard a few times but it still won't work! I need help because SwiftKey is my favorite keyboard to use on iOS

My lock screen passcode was îop ok? I got iOS 8 and the swift key keyboard only to find that the'î' character doesn't work on the lock screen. So I have effectively locked myself out of my own phone. HELP!

My husband and I have Galaxy 5 phones.  I just downloaded the swiftkey keyboard onto our phones but when I try to send him a text message with an emoji it just shows 2 question marks.  Any ideas?

Since the update a few days ago, when I insert an emoji into a text regardless how short it is, the SMS is automatically converted into an MMS. I was unaware this was happening until I ran out of credit and texts stopped sending.

I am currently with Tesco Mobile UK and get charged for every MMS. How do I stop this happening? I cannot see any settings on my Samsung S4 to stop this, only a warning that the SMS has been converted.

I just installed the latest version of swiftkey version 5.0.0.72 on my T-Mobile HTC one (M8) Android 4.4.2 HTC Sense 6.0. I followed the installation prompts and set swiftkey as the default keyboard. The keyboard itself is working great, but every time I switch applications the keyboard reverts back to the stock HTC sense keyboard. I can simply slide down the notification panel and switch the keyboard back to swiftkey but that gets annoying after awhile. I have been using the latest version of swiftkey beta version 4.5.0.68 and have had no problems with the keyboard reverting back to stock. I will remain on the beta version until I know this issue has been resolved on the latest version of swiftkey.
