Autocorrect Pink Box Hinders Manual Correct

I don't know what's going on, honestly. I was hoping to post a screenshot. I have auto correct turned off in keyboard settings. When I mistype - it happens - the text letters become highlighted in pink along with a list of suggested words THAT ARE ALWAYS WRONG. Also, I'm given two choices: add to dictionary, and delete. This is NEVER HELPFUL - it's kind of frozen, doesn't allow me to change individual letters, it requires an extra click to choose a word. It's as if two systems are at war with each other. This is a recent phenomenon, or at least it's gotten worse. Is this part of Swiftkey, or has Android or another app taken a role? Again, autocorrect is turned off in its settings.

One hand mode

For some reason one hand mode shortcut in the item area was moved in to "modes" section. Defeats the purpose as is takes 2 presses to get to that mode also while using your device with one hand. One hand should be quick and intuitive. It was great the way it was before the last update.

Correct prediction never in middle when autocorrect is turned on

This seems similar to this topic: https://support.swiftkey.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115004506349-Left-or-right-prediction-correct-main-prediction-wrong However it seems inconsistent. I got really annoyed by this behavior so I tried around little: The correct prediction only seems to be thrown off in certain apps. I noticed it on duolingo for example. There, the correct prediction is always on the left side (sometimes right) and what I typed is in the middle. (Got the same issue on the search bar in Google Chrome App, but maybe there it's intended.) I then tried it in Evernote and there it worked fine, correct predictions are in the middle. Same for Whatsapp. Then tried turning off autocorrect altogether. Awkwardly that solves the problem on duolingo, correct predictions are in the middle then but obviously don't get autocorrected since the function is off. Maybe anyone else can confirm that or has a solution?

Where does SwiftKey learn its dictionary from?

I just tried to type the word yesterday via gesture and it came out as UTStarcom. Now I have never typed that word in my life, it is not in the English dictionary, and its Wikipedia entry is only like 2 paragraphs long. Where did this come from??? Is there a way to get rid of these types of autocorrects?

[Suggestion] Alternate (long press) keys by region

Hi, my problem is, that when you long press, the alternate keys that appear are not relevant to my language(s), and the relevant ones are far away.

In my configuration for example, pt-br and eng-us, when I long press a, the first 4 chars are not used in my languages. Then my proposal is to only show chars that are relative to the languages that the user is using. And the second suggestion, is to bring the most used characters CLOSER to the key pressed, so we slide less.

Other example, the char e, the most used alternate char is é, but is the last in the list.

Forest theme not working in Bitwarden app on Android

I have my Theme set to Forest. It works in all apps except Bitwarden. For some reason Bitwarden uses the Dark theme. When I go to Settings >Themes, it shows Forest but it isn't, the shift, return, backspace keys aren't green. I need the Forest theme because I can't read the secondary symbols on the keys because they are in a lighter color. The Forest theme has them in white.

I am using Microsoft SwiftKey version 7.6.0.9 on a Samsung Galaxy S10e running Android 10. I have the same problem on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e tablet running Android 10.

I read through the answers in the forum. I have tried clearing cache, clearing data, rebooting. Nothing works. I read one comment about incognito mode. Is something different because this is a password program?
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Also when I cleared the data, I lost my settings. I thought these were saved and restored when I logged in. Any ideas on why they weren't?

Hi,

My keyboard has started to show up blank, see screenshot below. If I rotate to landscape mode it seems to work though. Any ideas on what to do?

Too many times have I clicked and sent the wrong GIF trying to scroll further down... You need to have the click select and then have a confirm send button appear to be sure you send the correct GIF

Unable to see accent characters

I had to do a factory reset of my Galaxy S8 and after installing Swiftkey and configuring it, I can't see the accent characters. I've tried maximizing the size of the keyboard and using different themes. Anyone have any suggestions?

On the keyboard space key area, it shows the language. When we choose Hong Kong tradition Chinese, it should shows 繁體中文（香港）instead of simplify Chinese 繁体中文（香港）

ليس فيه الكثير من الأخطاء لكن يحتاج الى الكثير من الميزات مثل: -يجب يجب زيادة عدد حقول التوقع - دعم تحريك المؤشر بالإنزلاق بدلاً من الأسهم ( كما في Gboard) - يجب أن تكون هناك إمكانية في إستعادة الكلمات المحذوفة (كما في Gboard) - دعم نسخ الصور الى الحافظة (كما في لوحة مفاتيح Samsung) - زيادة انواع علامات الترقيم والعلامات الأخرى - دعم إمكانية تحكم بوقت بقاء المنسوخات في الحافظة بدون تثبيت. - يجب عدم إضافة مسافة تلقائية بعد علامة الترقيم، أو جعل ذلك ممكن التغيير في الإعدادات لمن يرغب. ________________________________________________________ It doesn't have a lot of mistakes but it needs a lot of features like: - The number of forecast fields must be increased - Support moving the indicator by sliding instead of arrows (as in Gboard) - There should be a possibility of recovering deleted words (as in Gboard) - Support photo copying to the clipboard (as in the Samsung keyboard) - Increase the types of punctuation and other marks - Support the ability to control the time when copies remain in the clipboard without installation. - You should not add an automatic space after the punctuation mark, or make it possible to change settings for those who wish.

Fast way to switch between languages and language keyboards?

I am typing both in English and Spanish. Is there a way that I could quickly go back and forth between the two languages? I don't like the way that if I download the Spanish language keyboard, that the punctuation is always in Spanish. I'm used to Sliding to type an exclamation point a certain way and now it's always Spanish.. I want to this English with English punctuation marks and immediately switch to Spanish with Spanish punctuation marks. I ultimately just end up deleting the Spanish keyboard because I hate the pronunciation marks so much. Is there any way that I could just switch it back and forth between the two quickly and have each set of respective punctuation marks for each language? Thank you
