For some reason, SwiftKey will inexplicably (and it has done this for many years and versions) want to autocorrect "that" to "thst". It makes no sense, and I make sure to manually delete the suggestion every time. This happens maybe once per month? After I delete it, if I try to type "that" a few times, it will suggest "that" correctly. I have autocorrect enabled. I have Norwegian and English (UK) as languages. "Thst" is not a word in any vocabulary, or something that I will ever use. This random, buggy suggestion just seems to happen from time to time and I don't understand why.
It is not that I type "thst" by mistake - that might too happen - I type "that" correctly first time, and I see SwiftKey changing it to "thst". Very annoying!
In IOS version of the app when you long press letters polish diacritical marks (ą, ć, ę, ł, ń, ó, ś, ź, ż) are on the very end of avalible symbols behind marks not used in polish language. Could you move then so they appear first (plus maybe remove non polish ones)?
Hello all,
I've noticed that when I compose text on my iPhone or iPad, misspelled words are only underlined if I'm using the native iOS keyboard. There is no underlining if I'm using SwiftKey.
Can someone please comment on this behavior and if there is a way to change it?
Thank you!
Hi,
I have an issue when Swiftkey is set as my default keyboard on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ when using Microsoft RDP client. I'm posting it here as a Swiftkey issue as it does not happen when the default Samsung keyboard is set as default.
When the Samsung physical keybaord is connected but Swiftkey is still set as the default keyboard, the backspace key does not work in Microsoft RDP client to host PCs. If I switch the default onscreen keyboard to Samsung, the backspace key on the physiocal keyboard starts working again in RDP. Clearly, even though I am using the Samsung physical keyboard, Swiftkey is involved somehow and blocks the backspace key from working. Any assistance appreciated.
After upgrading my device and updating SwiftKey I hoped this issue would be resolved, but I am experiencing it again. Not only are pinned clips disappearing, but occasionally the clipboard fails to save copied items at all, and I see random items saved for long periods of time. I'm using version 7.0.1.21 on Android 11. I'm unable to sort forum threads by date or activity, but I see this was previously an issue for several users. Is there a fix?
I use Swiftkey on Android in both Spanish and English. It usually works well.
I have an issue with the word "dan". In Spanish, "dan" is the third person of the verb "dar" (i.e. "to give --> they give"). Every time I try to write it, Swiftkey suggests the change to "Dan", assuming I'm trying to write that name.
No matter how many times I try to add lowercase "dan" to the dictionary, it never works. And judging by the likes of this Twitter post, it seems I'm not the only one having this problem:
Hello, I can't seem to find the theme "vivid beach" in the themes tab of the app. It used to be available some months ago.
I gave detailed explanations, but even after 7 days, there's no answer
Please, don't ignore the problem, but help to solve it instead
i had to do a factory reset recently due to me losing an important app. this made my symbol keyboard layout look weird. i swear "?" and other symbols are not where they supposed to be, my muscle memory tells me the new layout is wrong. it also looks like it's missing a row or something? "(" and ")" were on the left side before. i'm really used to that layout, is there any way to get it back? maybe it was simply an update of sorts? or is it a theme issue? phone is huawei p smart 2019. i honestly don't know what to do at this point. please help.
When entering or editing phone numbers, SwiftKey opens an abbreviated keyboard with only digits and a few other keys (space, parentheses, some symbols, a backspace key, and an enter key), but there are no navigation keys (left and right arrows). These would be very useful when correcting numbers. Is there a way to add them? If not, please consider adding them in a future release.
Voice typing does not work on some websites, or is extremely slow
is it possible to extend the time limit? I get only a second or two before it cuts off!
Hello,
I have 2 phones, both set 3 languages: Japanese, English, Chinese.
The first phone is hTC One m9, the language sort is: Japanese, English, Chinese.
The second phone is hTC U12 life, the language sort is: English, Chinese, Japanese.
When changing languages by swipe on space button, the sort is different on two phones. That makes me confused!
Is there sorting methods for us to set?
