With two langages (french and english), Swiftkey writes words in french while my keyboard is in english, and vice versa.
That's really annoying, I'm trying to write in English so why do I have words in french that are written ?!

As Croatia is adopting the euro from 1 January 2023, can you please move the € symbol to where the $ symbol is now on the Croatian layout?
To access the dollar symbol ($) you need to select the numbers/symbols button on the keyboard where the dollar is on the second row, third character.
However, to access the euro symbol (€), you need to first select the numbers/symbols button, and then again select the button for other characters, which means, to get to the currency symbol of the country, you need three keypresses.
Also, it would be better if the euro symbol (€) replaced the dollar symbol ($) as the default longpress of the "x" key.
Hello,
after tapping a suggested word and then a punctuation mark, Swiftkey removes the space between the word and the mark for the marks there should be no space before them, but for some marks it doesn't.
It removes the space after tapping a full stop, a comma, a question or exclamation mark, but not after a colon or a semicolon.
Also, I just noticed that the same occurs for reverse question and exclamation marks.
Could you please take a look at this?
How can I turn off the feature which adds a space after every predicted word I select, or punctuation mark? It should only insert a space if I then decide to add another word. Having to delete excess spaces at the ends of things, or sometimes after the "#" in a hash tag, is really getting old quickly.
Hi,
I've been using Swiftkey for many years, I really love this keyboard and features. I recently switched to a galaxy fold, and can't match the keyboard to a foldable use case.
Swiftkey has a one-handed layout, which is perfect for the main screen where I can't use swiping in any comfortable and precise way with the normal all-screen layout.
The problem is that if I set it to one handed layout, for some reason the keyboard on the external narrow screen is also narrower, even though simple logic dictates that the very narrow external display is already one-handed and shouldn't be resized.
I can't find any setting to disable this, I have to change the layout setting every time I switch displays which is stupidly annoying and making this keyboard useless on foldables.
Even the split ("thumb") layout follows to the external display, which is even stupider.
Samsung keyboard already has this obvious feature, there are settings to configure default layouts for main display and external display, the external one even has different settings for portrait and landscape modes.
Is there any way to force the keyboard to stay on full layout on the external display and one-handed layout on the main display? Or do I have to abandon Swiftkey for Samsung keyboard?
Thanks
Hello, I have the problem in google sheets for example that the toolbar isn't showing and icon to open it also is missing, so that I can't use the clipboard. I need to type anything, then exit the cell and go back to it to get it shown. On some forms, often passwords, it's impossible to get it shown on any way. Is there a fix for that? Or can you add a shortcut on the keyboard to open the taskbar? Thank you Device make and model: Xiaomi Mi 9 Device Android version: 11 Current SwiftKey version: 7.8.7.8 Steps to reproduce: Open Google Sheets and open any cell - keyboard opens but toolbar is missing when it's empty. Or Xing login password field.
When you copy something, GBoard automatically recognizes emails, phone numbers, pin codes and urls. It then create separate clips (one for the full text and one for each of the recognized elements inside it). It would be easy I guess to develop such a useful feature for SwiftKey. Also when taking a screenshot, the image is also automatically added to GBoard's clipboard ! You can then send the image in no more than a single click in your conversations. That's dope and to be honest that's the only thing I really miss from GBoard. I really recommend you try this feature by yourself and see how GBoard makes it work, it's kind of a state-of-the-art :) Thanks!
TL/DR:
How to "disable" "block offensive words" on iPhone, while using the "voice-to-text" or "diction" feature for swiftkey?
DETAILS:
Despite my efforts to do my due diligence by searching the "support area", community boards, and even Reddit for a solution. Unfortunately, I have not found anything that is relevant to iOS/iPhones, or is no longer accurate (there is no "gear icon" when the voice-to-text is activated.
Under the community forums, for instance, the one post I found (that was under IOS community) suggested this path: "device settings > Language & input > Manage keyboards > google voice technology settings> Block offensive words(Enable/Disable" -- Items bolded = doesn't exist. That post was marked as "answered" with in the last year.
This was an issue that I have had since the very beginning and it seems that this has never been answered. (Currently I just toggle between iOS keyboard and swiftkey when I need to use voice to text).
********************************************
Context why its an annoyance:
Besides being an adult and feeling 'irked' by the idea of an app censoring a word on my behalf. There are scenarios in which one might need to communicate in a professional back and forth (where cursing has been established as being acceptable/part of the 'culture' of the dialogue ["professional yet casual'ish"]). It is disruptive to stop>toggle back>type it out>turn back on, and/or for the recipient to get a "x****** " that slipped by.
Thank you so much in advance for any/all help!
What does this setting "Show popup keys while typing on the keyboard" do?
Is it possible to set up an auto-replace entry?
How can I change the default gender of the text prediction emojis? I.e. The gender of the suggested emoji is always male, how do I change that to female?
I love that SwiftKey Beta finally have released Photo Themes, and given users a possibility to design your own custom theme!!!
BUT it needs the possibility to deside the COLOR OF THE FONT. Without it it's not very usefull. It would also be good if you add a way to determend how transparent the photo theme is.
Hi, is there a plan to add double PinYin for Chinese? Google Pinyin lack of functionality, China's local input app have a lot of privacy risks.

There is no code, and never has been. If you are getting asked for a code, kill TestFlight or try signing out and signing back in and then click the link above again.

As the title suggests, there is a lack in foldable phone support in the sense that competing keyboards like gboard are able to accommodate. Switching to split keyboard once the device is open would make SwiftKey so much more convenient. Foldable markets are growing. Hopefully SwiftKey keeps up.
For the iOS version 2.8.2 of Swiftkey, it seems that the numeric keypad dot not respect the comma/dot regonal setting of the iOS device, and always shows the dot, even if the language/regional setting of the iOS device specifies a comma as decimal separator. I can long hold the dot to get the comma, but I would like the same option as on the native IOS, that the regional setting defines what the first option is.
As the title says, SwiftKey is probably the best keyboard on Android and the fact that it doesn't support one layout for a small screen and another layout for a bigger/main screen is jarring. There aren't really any good alternatives out there and the foldable part of the SwiftKey community would benefit greatly from this addition. Heck, even Microsoft with their Duo series should have already thought about this problem for their users.
So I am obviously from Hungary and try to use Hungarian spell correction and it is ok for 5 to 10 percent of the time. Mostly it corrects the word to a less likely useful or used word. It makes me confusing because MS Office Word has a fantastic Hungarian spell correction database which is also Microsoft so why they don't apply it or use it for this?
Thanks!
Andy
SwiftKey doesn't seem to connect to text replacement in ios or have its own version in the app u could then sync and share between devices. Ie set BRB to the fill in as be right back
