Since Samsung disabled access to clipboard, would be nice to get an option to keep clipboard data for more than 1 hour. Also why some copied content from incognito mode for example, doesn't showing up on clipboard?

Hello, since the Android 12 update on my Samsung phone, the Clipboard button that pop-ups when I select and copy a text or a word doesn't show up anymore. I'll put a screenshot link below to explain you what I mean, see link below. Why did SwiftKey disappeared this button?! It's something very crucial for me! Cuando estoy escribiendo una dirección de correo electrónico, en la barra de sugerencia de texto del teclado me aparecen o me sugiere alguna dirección pero no se puede distinguir si es la que necesito ya que aparece en letras muy pero muy pequeñas, se podría decir que necesito una lupa para poder verlo. Eso para mi hace este teclado infuncional, no es practico. Deberían de corregir ese error ya que del resto no tengo queja. Esperando que mi sugerencia sea tomada en cuenta me despido agradeciendo su atención.

Is there no way to disable the behavior that makes swiping backspace delete words? I don't want this, and the additional behavior of it not typing a word when you end a swipe of a word on the backspace is incredibly annoying

Whenever I copy something, SwiftKey suggests that I add a task from it.

It's annoying.

I don't want to use this feature and I don't know how to turn off the suggestion.

Any help with this is appreciated.

Automatic period positioning Con risposta

I'm an engineer so I am constantly texting decimal numbers. When trying to type something like "the tolerance for that part is. 100" the period automatically snaps to the "is" and not to ".100" even when intentionally adding a space. I then have to monkey around with spaces or put the number in parenthesis. It's really annoying when I have to do this multiple times in a sentence. Disabling autocorrect doesn't stop this behavior.

I'm having a constant issue where when I select a word from the predicted words,, only the first letter of just half the word gets inserted. One plus 8 pro,, happens in chrome, kik, Facebook, text messaging

hi, i have turned on clipboard sync between my android swiftkey and my windows 10 but i cannot access all clipboard items from my PC , only the last copied item is accessible , as soon as i copy new text on my PC it replaces the previous on my swiftkey. please note that my PC clipboard history option is on.

is there any solution to access all clip items from my PC or can you include this option in next updates please?

Prior to Android 12 on my Samsung Note 10+ when entering or selecting text if you long pressed you would see clipboard as an option along with copy/paste/select all etc

It seems to no longer be available for selection

Now only way is to open the additional options in the swiftkey keyboard while in writing mode and select the clipboard icon Is is intended as a security feature with android 12 or a bug? I uninstalled and reinstalled and same thing. My other devices running android 11 still have the option I'm on the latest beta version

Also seems the clipboard has less items in memory now as well

Bola direccional teclado windos 10 mobile Con risposta

Sería muy interesante que llegase una función olvidada del teclado de windows 10, la bola direccional. Antes usaba las flechas direccionales en el teclado swiftkey, llevo usando la función direccional al dejar pulsada la barra espaciadora, pero creo firmemente que la antigua bola direccional era mucho más cómoda, rápida y funcional en cuanto a la escritura.

I typed in a number yesterday and I forgot to save it onto my phone and i really need that number there's no other way of me getting it again and I hoped that it would be possible to view what you have previously typed then I could just get the number back
SwiftKey remembering clipboard even when turned off Con risposta

SwiftKey is saving copied items in clipboard history even when "remember copied items" option is turned off. This issue/bug needs to be solved. I don't want SwiftKey to store my copied items. I use samsung's default clipboard. SwiftKey keeps suggesting copied text (on the right side suggestion panel) which is very annoying!

Whenever Swiftkey is in incognito mode, it will report an error when trying to change the theme (to a more readable one. Dark grey isn't actually super readable on a black background).

Does microsoft swift key's clipboard sync feature only work if the text that is copied on a pc is coming from a microsoft owned app ...? For example, if I copy some text in an article while using google chrome on my pc, will it not sync to my clipboard in swiftkey on my android device?

Hi before I switched from my Galaxy S7 Edge phone I could access my clipboard where I would save certain links and things and I wouldn't have to type them in on sites I just access my clipboard and paste them. I'll switch to a T-Mobile phone and I can't access the clipboard any longer. Is there a solution for this problem?
Issue With Second Screen of LG G8X Con risposta

There is an issue where the enter key on the SwiftKey keyboard does not work when in landscape mode on the second screen of an LG G8X. It instead just closes the keyboard interface. It does work when in portrait mode and in both modes on the primary display. The LG Keyboard as well as the Gboard keyboard do not have this issue.

I'm using SwiftKey Beta (7.9.7.8), and recently none of the popup specifical characters appear. For the other keys I can still type the characters by holding them down, even though the pop-up never appears, but it doesn't work for the period key with 3 special characters- comma (which has anther button), exclamation point, and question mark. When the problem first appeared it seemed intermittent, but right now it doesn't work at all. I've tried typing in multiple apps.

Sometimes the punctuation pop-up on the beta isn't working for me. That isn't constant. However, what IS constant is that some words just don't work anymore. School is one of them. I can't flow it. I have to type it out. If I flow it, it will show on the bar to be selected in the middle with no other choices but I can't click on it to make it type it. There's other words I can't think of offhand that also have that issue. I'm just so frustrated because I've used the beta for years and years with no issue. I know you want a video but I have zero idea how to screen record on this thing. I can give you screen shots of my phone info and of what it looks like when school is up and won't let choose it. Also what the hell is going on with sync. I logged out and now it looks like I've lost all of my saved words and predictions after logging back in? That's at least A DECADE of data. Sigh.

Recently I've had an issue where the punctuation key (!,?, etc) doesn't work properly I'll try to use a ? Or ! But it doesn't type the character If I switch to gboard then back, it starts working again

The cursor control via space bar is great, but I find it difficult to position the cursor exactly right - sometimes several attempts are required. Please add a setting to adjust the cursor speed or leverage, so that the cursor moves less when I move my finger.
