Adding a word with an apostrophe

Hi to all, I need to add the common italian word - po' - to the personal dictionary. In my pad device, a Huawei P8 Lite 2017, the installed version of SwiftKey has been working properly. In my current device, a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, it doesn't. I have the same SwiftKey account. That word is really important because it has a really common use in the Italian language. How can I add that word to my dictionary? Thanks. -
Latest Beta broke One Handed Operation +

Hi, the latest SwiftKey beta seems to have broken the Samsung One Handed Operation + App when the keyboard is open. This app let's you assign operation when swiping in from the sides of the screen and it worked fine in previous versions of SwiftKey (including the current stable version) but the gestures aren't recognised when swiping in the keyboard area since updating to the latest beta.

after factory reset first symbol keyboard layout changed

i had to do a factory reset recently due to me losing an important app. this made my symbol keyboard layout look weird. i swear "?" and other symbols are not where they supposed to be, my muscle memory tells me the new layout is wrong. it also looks like it's missing a row or something? "(" and ")" were on the left side before. i'm really used to that layout, is there any way to get it back? maybe it was simply an update of sorts? or is it a theme issue? phone is huawei p smart 2019. i honestly don't know what to do at this point. please help.

New Arabic Layout in Beta

Hello there, I am a fan of the new Arabic Layout, it is only one latter I think that should be moved.
In my opinion, the letter “و” should be moved, and placed between the letter “ز” and the letter “ة”
And put the letter “ؤ” instead of the letter “و” current place, the same way it is in PC layout.
Also the new layout have a glitch in this Tashkeel “ـ”, it is not continuous with the pervious letter, and need to change the layout to get it working
Good working in this layout 👍🏼 just those 2 points getting fixed, it will be the best Arabic Layout yet.

Something wrong in Arabic 123 layout

In Arabic 123 layout, the symbol in the attached screenshot is supposed to make letter "taller" like this:
بـســـــم
But in this layout it doesn't do this, while in Arabic 123 (Original) it is right.

Toggle auto-expand of clipboard shortcuts

Can you tell me how to turn off auto expand on the clipboard? Some of my shortcut words are common: I'd like to be able to swipe a word, then select the phrase from the suggestions. But if I just need the word itself, just keep typing.

En mi teléfono android al habilitar más de un idioma de teclado (español e inglés) en swift key sólo realiza correcciones ortográficas del idioma español, aun cuando estoy escribiendo en el idioma inglés, con dicho teclado activo. Es decir, Toda palabra escrita la detecta como un error ortográfico al escribir en inglés, el teclado sólo realiza predicciones. Al parecer esto debido a que los ajustes de mi teléfono están configurados en español y en automático supone que todo lo escrito es en español. Hay alguna forma de que esté teclado detecte el idioma inglés al escribir y deje de marcarme errores ortográficos ?

Now that female and male 🧘♂️🧘♀️ emojis are combined into one typing suggestion which you can long tap to customize, I'd love to have that same approach taken with the thumb emojis. It's not very often that you use a thumb down emoji but when you do, you try writing 'thumb'. Currently you only have a thumb up suggested.

New to swiftkey, how to edit to capitals

I'm a long time swype user. Then when they killed it I moved to gboard. Now I'm giving swiftkey a go, I'm in finding it awkward. With swype it was advised to swype full sentences and then go back and edit. Is there a shortcut to capitalise a word. In gboard you can highlight the word and cycle with the shift key, capitalise the first letter, capitalise all letters and all lower case. Is there a way to do this on swiftkey?

SwiftKey keeps sugesstions while entering in Terminal Emulator. It should disable it, and stop adding space after dot.

Feature request : Swipe the delete key to range select and delete.

I would love to see a similar implementation similar to G board. Where as a user touches the delete key and begins swiping backwards and the words get highlighted have you swipe from right to left and when you let go of the delete key the words get deleted.

Resizing keyboard keys

When I resize the keyboard, all of the keys get resized in proportion to the new keyboard size. I like my layout but I want to resize some keys without changing the size of all of them. Specifically I want smaller function keys (space bar, Return, arrows, etc), without making the letter keys smaller. Can it be done?

Hello, developer team. I'm bilingual keyboard user (Thai-English) on Android 10 (Huawei). I notice that the keyboard sizes is changed with swtiched languages which is really annoying. If I switch to Thai, the keyboard size has higher height. Even if I resize the keyboard, the keyboard sizes are shared with one size setting. It should work like number & symbol layout in English, the size remains the same. Or there might be option to choose either to make its size adapt to languages or remain its size. Thank you, Adithep

I see the keyboard having a noticeable lag when using on an android oppo phone. They use a custom ROM called colorOS. This seems to happen for all applications. I tend to use finger typing rather than flow.
Any thoughts?

Local backup function for downloaded language and learned language data missing

Hello,
I use a Google Pixel 3a (Android 9) and SwiftKey 7.5.8.7.
But there is not a single local backup function in the settings.
I have downloaded 3 languages, but there is no local backup function to backup and restore the downloaded language locally.
Additionally there is no possibility to locally backup and restore the learned language data.
Please fix SwiftKey developer. I hope when Android 11 is released it should be fixed by then. Thank you.

Trouble Uninstalling

This app is akin to a virus. I would sooner get punched in the face than support this app that auto installs, is worse than gboard, and is difficult to uninstall. I've been trying to uninstall, but when I attempt to sign in through the app so I can access my account I can't sign in. Is there another way I can uninstall this virus?

Microsoft SwiftKey has an issue with Android, that ignores HTML attributes for autocapitalization.
I filed a bug with the Google Chrome team here https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=1092224#c13
It's their suggestion that having tried multiple keyboards which do work, this is a bug in Microsoft SwiftKey.
I can confirm I have now switched my device back to the Google Keyboard which works as intended with modern HTML, but you may want to have capitalization work on a broader remit, than that of a toggle switch.

I was thinking of taking a huge list of words and pasting it in some kind of a mail after which I would synchronize to get some of the words missing. For the last couple of days when I'm typing (no matter what app or letter I've pressed) SwiftKey keyboard disappears. Sometimes it will pop right back up and other times I'll have to tap into the text box again for it to come back. I've cleared the cache and data, uninstalled and re-installed. Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm using an LG V30 phone & have had SwiftKey since I've had the phone and haven't had this issue until recent.

Letter "a" capitalizing before a proper noun

When I type a sentence with the letter "a" preceding a proper noun, the keyboard will automatically capitalize the "a" unless I press the spacebar before the noun. For example, if I want to type "a Cadillac," it will come out as "A Cadillac." This will occur in the middle of a sentence where the "a" doesn't require a capital letter. How can I stop this? Otherwise, I do want auto caps to occur, so I don't want to turn it off completely.

Need to see why my SwiftKey is adding words to my sentences? I have looked at the settings and cannot see anything that would allow this. For example if I type "hello how is it going" it will type "hello how is everything it going". I don't want this feature, why would anyone? It is adds the word "everything" in that example. I'm constantly having to clear the memory, which helps, but it still should not be predicting my sentence and adding words. I use flow mostly just so you know
