Hi guys, i love this keyboard but happens to me so many times I'm writting and suddenly I got somethig like this:

Example: -how are. You-  and i'd be How are you.

I don't have the doble tap space to put a dot after a word, so I don't know why this happen to me so often, I have to be the hole time deleting words because this problem. 

I hope someone can help me, because it's been so long I'm already pissed.

Hello, I've been using swift key for Years now. I lovebit as you can see though some times when I type a letter forcesv itself in thebapp (app) I've cleared the typing history and deleted the account And it works for a short moment afterwards but goes back. I also have a screen shot of it that I saved. I just wsnrbitb (want it too work) help!

It's on Android 8, LG G6 and it's very annoying. Van anyone help with it? Thanx a lot.

Basically no matter what I type it suggests 11:11:30 pm, 11:30, 11 11th. And other variations. I never have had it to learn these time sequences either. I've deleted learned words before twice already and it still happens.

For S9 Plus users, the recent software update resolves the issue of the keyboard size, at least for me it did.

The use of keyboard margins will become more crucial to keyboard ergonomics with the current advent of diminishing bezels on the latest Android smartphones. This will have two major repercussions:

1: smaller bottom bezel will drop keyboard below comfortable position since hands still need to hold devices nearer towards middle

2: slimmer side bezels will mean fingers need to reach further towards palms to reach the furthest keys

The use of 4 adjustable margins is being proposed to replace the current system of fixed keyboard sizing. Adjustable margins would also tackle keyboard ergonomics on bezel diminished devices as it would allow users to size and place keyboard into a comfortable position. With bezels now shrinking on many new devices, there now needs to be a large bottom margin underneath the bottom row, and left and right right margins would keep thumbs nearer to the centre of the keyboard, where thumbs can reach with less strain. Adding the top adjustable margin would allow for key size adjustability to suit the varying finger lengths of users.

For an example of a 4 margin keyboard, please see the current Samsung keyboard for its S series devices. The Apple iPhone X also demonstrates the need for a large bottom margin for phones with little bottom bezel.

I am using Sony Xperia r1 dual it have came with pre-installed swift keyboard but I am not able to update it in Google play app store u can't able to even sign in using my Google account in app please fix this issue I can't u uninstall it because it had came as a pre-installed app there is no option in my phone to uninstall it all I can do is force stop or disable so I can't reinstall the app so please help me please fix the issue

I am using Samsung j7prime model. I had turned off touchpad sounds from settings but while using swift keyboard touch pad sounds is still on which is very much irritating.

The keyboard is still way too big in full resolution! It is the same issue as it was on man other samsung devices.

Please fix this Problem! I want to use my phone in WQHD.

On the last stable version is disappeared the swiftmoji shortcut. Android 8.1, pixel 2 xl

The logo stands out and looks terrible on my otherwise all-black theme.  I know what keyboard I'm using. You don't need to advertise it to me.  I'm currently using a size smaller than desired only because it hides the logo.  Could you please, please, please remove the logo from this otherwise great keyboard?

I'm running SwiftKey Keyboard 7.0.3.19 on Android 5.0.

Recently (past month? Two? Don't really remember, it's been a while, but not too long) I've been running into an issue where my landscape keyboard randomly becomes the wrong size. I'm unsure if the portrait also runs into an issue because I rarely type on it. I notice the landscape issue because it becomes very difficult for me to type when the size is wrong

I've attached two screenshots. The top screenshot is the 'bad' case, the bottom screenshot is the 'good' case. I always previously noticed that the 'bad' state had no 'buffer' area between the keyboard and the text box. However, now that I have two side-by-side screenshots I notice that the arrow keys are in a different location.

This is using the keyboard on with 'Medium' size.

I do not have steps to reproduce, nor am I sure the steps to 'fix' it. When I run into the issue, it usually resolves itself after a couple hours.

The following information is from memory, so may not be completely accurate:

* Changing keyboard size back and forth does not appear to fix it

* Sometimes switching programs appears to fix it (eg, switch from Text Messaging to Web Browser), most of the time it does not

* This most recent time (when I took these screenshots), turning 'off' the number row, then turning it back on' appeared to fix the issue.

I hope you are somehow able to reproduce this and get the issue fixed. My muscle memory is simply incapable of typing on the 'bad' keyboard.

SwiftKey keeps on completely removing itself as a default app and totally disabling itself as a keyboard all together even though I've whitelist it.
Every time it does this it also completely resets all of the settings, delets all of the progress I've made with typing and removes all of the themes Including of of the custom ones I've made.

Going through SwiftKey and having to completely redo everything is getting extremely annoying especially considering this is happening a few times a day.

I would love to be able to use my Disney emojis that I unlock via my Disney Emoji Blitz app! I can use them with the standard Google keyboard, but not SwiftKey. 😢

Today I typed the word "Jewdas" (a Jewish organisation) but SwiftKey Beta's three predictions did not include "Jewdas" itself, only alternatives. Switching to SwiftKey's normal version, "Jewdas" was available as it should be.

When I try to use hashtags on IG the keyboard freezes and won't send anything or delete, I have to exit out and back in and then it works, but not always the first time.

They only reason why I don't like swift key compared to gboard is due to lack of quick access to voice input. Can you please bring voice input key top right as it's currently placed in the gboard. To be honest Windows phone keyboard was so much better.

The spacebar being too small and EVERYONE hitting the "." period key has been the biggest complaint about SwiftKey that I have seen here. All apps have their issues and the reason for having support forums is to communicate these issues in order to better your product. I'm trying to figure out what is more frustrating, typing. Like. This. All. The. Time, or the fact that your support team is outright ignoring this common issue. I read through other forum posts about different subjects just to see if there are any SwiftKey Team responses to verify if there is even a support team. There are responses, but it seems as though SwiftKey picks and chooses what to respond to. If this issue is currently being addressed, than communicating that to your users would just be common sense. Since this has been an ongoing issue for so long, one can only assume that the service level of SwiftKey is nonexistent and just shows your customers that communicating issues here is irrelevant. There are three main factors that make or break productshu:
1. Price
2. Usability
3. Support for the product

SwiftKey is failing at 2 out of 3 and as a business owner, I would concider this to be unacceptable customer service. Having a common problem is one thing, fixing it is another, but failing to even acknowledge it is a perfect reason for another company to develop a keyboard app that knows how to retain their users. I will personally look into other keyboard apps that use their support forums to better their products and be glad to privately share my findings with all the other ignored and frustrated users here. The building blocks to any successful product is the satisfaction of the people using it.

How can I get the 3 bar menu back that takes me right to my settings? The new tool bar doesn't add anything new. These options are available on the emoji button. The only thing this new toolbar caused is an additional tap to get to settings. Please revert back, this was a bad idea by someone who doesn't know how to use SwiftKey.

Swiftkey Beta v6.7.7.18 has a new top bar instead of the old swipe menu but is not themed correctly. Only happens with custom themes.

Latest version of Swiftkey is a nightmare when typing in Forums in Chrome(at least).

When trying to type certain letters and/or make a space, you'll end up with random letters on the keyboard instead. Trying to "finish" a word via pressing space will instead "type" for example:   " Hellb" instead of becoming "Hello".

Hi all. I've been using SwiftKey for a veeery long time and it's amazing. I really liked the voice integration but a while back I started to get away from Google products (yes, Android is from Google but you can strip quite a lot of their stuff from it) and I (sadly) discovered that after removing Google Search app the voice dictation stopped working.

SwiftKey is now owned by Microsoft and MS has it's own voice recognition. There is also a Common Voice project from Mozilla (https://voice.mozilla.org/) which should be more open/transparent (though they are only collecting data / training for now).

Having alternative voice input would be awesome!

This is not an Android issue - see two screenshots below, one with GBoard, one with SwiftKey - both of them work fine for the first language (English), but for the second language (Hebrew), SwiftKey shows all words as misspelled. For GBoard, I also added a misspelled word at the end of the Hebrew text, just to show that the spell checker does work there.

The solution @Alpert referred me to here (below), turns off spell check entirely, which is not something I'm looking for - I do want it, but I want it to work properly.

For some reason, SwiftKey Android shows red underlines under *all* words in my second language (Hebrew), like they're all misspelled. It does work fine for the first language (=English).

This issue doesn't happen when I switch to another keyboard.

I love SwiftKey so far with one hinderence that really slows me down a lot.

Pressing space key keeps switching languages spontaneously... Quite a bother.

Can I split the space key and language switch options into two keys?

I tried using the gif feature in the Samsung native SMS App and it opens a new message instead of staying in the message I'm in. Any way to fix this? Also does the swiftmoji app do Gifs?

Love this keyboard. Was wondering if there is a way I can customize the color scheme, i.e., the letters, background and keys?

There is a random glitch or a bug that causes the keyboard to go completely black for a random amount of time and you are unable to use the keyboard during that duration. It's extremely annoying. I have a Galaxy s6 and I use SwiftKey Beta

I am unable to enter pin for WhatsApp and few other banking applications.

WhatsApp pin is a 6 digit number, I can enter the first 4 digits then when you try to enter the 5 digit it overrides the 4th digit and Keep doing this.

I am not aware of any workaround, I end up using Gboard for WhatsApp pin and in other apps.
