Oh my god they finally fixed it (in SwiftKey beta for now), over a year after the Pixel 4 came out and the bug was filed. Better late than never, I guess.

Correct, I have a Pixel 3, along with many other phones, and the Pixel 4 and 4 XL are the only ones with this issue.

Was going to open a new issue before finding this one. SwiftKey, are you going to acknowledge and address this?
