Bigger concern - why can't we use any email and separate password for sign in? Why only Google or Microsoft login through browser for sign in?

Amazing - selected the newsletter check box and was able to log in. But it's absolutely no use because the data is not synced. So it doesn't make any difference.

Same problem here. Can't sign in using Google. Tried the usual circus of reinstalling. Seriously frustrating as I'm unable to use my saved data. MIUI Marshmallow, Mi3, latest SwiftKey.
