Thanks for the reach-out, Heather. SwiftKey is always actively looking for ways to improve the app, and have recently gotten some feedback about Flow and its editing abilities (there's a setting in the Beta version currently that allows you to turn on/off the space after Flow to better predictions and help with corrections).

Could you give us some specific examples of words that SwiftKey is predicting wrong when you Flow?

You can also head into your SwiftKey settings, in the About section at the top-right, and turn on "Help improve SwiftKey." This will send some data about how you type so we can improve the overall experience. 🙂

I completely agree. I own an iPhone and an android device and I desperately want Microsoft Word flow for Android. I have downloaded SwiftKey beta hoping that it will be an improvement to SwiftKey. Word flow is noticeably superior to SwiftKey standard in flow accuracy. So far beta seems to be better.

I'd also like to see a split keyboard option like word flow and Google keyboard have to a allow for one handed operation.

So I've been using SwiftKey for 4+ years or so and it seems to not be as efficient as it used to be. I have the galaxy s8 and I haven't loved it like before. Seems to suggest the most obscure words that I've never typed and frankly I don't even know what some of them are. For instance I frequently get tinnittus suggested for tomorrow. Now while tinnittus is neither rare nor common regardless if that's the best suggestion it came up with based on my swipe, it doesn't even make sense in the sentence. So even if I was trying to type tinnittus and didn't know the correct spelling, I feel like the versions of years past have gone a step further and still might have suggested it the first few times purely based on its best guess but also took into account if it even made sense. Another example is at least 1 out of 3 times when I'm trying to type "and" it gives me "abs" ! "And" is one of the most common words in the English language and more often then not makes sense at multiple spots in a sentence. Now I did just figure out how to delete those words from being suggested again, which is nice but I thought the app "self improved" based on collecting data and using that for future predictions. The fact that I have never selected "abs" over "and" to confirm the prediction at any point it's seems odd and rather wasteful that it doesn't recognize that and either start predicting different words or hell an error message would be better at that point. Just seems like the part of the app that is supposed to be collecting or storing data for better predictions or overall ease of use is not really being used in the best way. There are a few other random yet still annoying examples of trying to type the exact spelling or being deliberate and swiping right over the letters and still having it suggest the weirdest words that don't even look real yet when I know I'm spelling a word correctly and the app isn't recognizing the word but gives no error or obscure suggestion at that point is just odd. I'm talking about easy everyday words and it doesn't recognize them but will suggest words that look like supercalfragalisticexpealadocious! I completely understand the inner workings of an app like this and how it needs data to improve what it suggests but when I feel like in the past it went that next step and factored in common sense it seems to be missing currently. And to be totally honest I can't even prove that the app used to do what I'm talking about but I sure felt like it did. Which to me is the best part of SwiftKey, "real" or not lol. Am I doing something wrong or is there something I can do to improve the accuracy of predictions on both the basic and complicated level? Thanks in advance for your feedback.

I agree I don't know what has happened but my texts are so much less accurate lately to the point that today I stopped using it.
