You can find the version info in SwiftKey settings > 3-dot menu on top-right corner > about.
I have reason to believe you chose the QWERTZ layout rather than QWERTY. You can change it back in language, tap on the language you download, change the layout.

Also wrong place of character in my Chinese - Cangjie Keyboard. My versoin is 7.0.7.28
It makes me a lot of typo due to the 3rd line of keyboard tend to shift to relatively right hand side. I have used the old version which is perfectly set up for so long.
