Cannot remove word prediction
RespondidaHi,
SwiftKey started suggesting me "c è" everytime I press "c", which is annoying as what I really want is "c'è" with the apostrophe (Italian).
My problem is I cannot get rid of that "c è" as if I long press the suggested word, nothing happens. Long pressing other words works, so this is really strange.
Thank you in advance,
Francesco
Looks like SwiftKey thinks it's 2 words. And delete 2-word prediction is not possible at this moment. You can try delete the "c" prediction so that it won't trigger "c è"
Update: delete the 2-word prediction is available.
It doesn't work at all. I've tried to remove words and long pressing does nothing now.
I also can't remove word prediction (iPhone). Is this a problem for 11 months? So long? Do you want to tell me that this problem takes more than 11 months and has not been solved so far? Why is Microsoft buying projects when they can not take care of them? Project KIN - dead, project Windows Phone - dead, project Nokia - dead, project Lumia - dead, project Skype - mayhem, project SwiftKey - neglected chaos.. GO TO HELL, PLEASE!!
Long press to remove words no longer works!!! It used to before but stopped all of a sudden!! Wtf?? Now i can't remove words i typed wrong or i no longer want the stupid keyboard to predict!!! Absolutely irritating!!!
Long press also stopped working for me (iPhone)
Same to me... but with iOS 12. With iOS 11 it was working
This has very annoyingly happened d to me too.
iOS user, and happened since last iOS update.
Microsoft obviously coughs on it and wants us to go to Google (GBoard). So.., bye.
If it's on iOS, it's a known issue for iOS 12, we're working on a fix. And please post it to iOS forum.
Here's for Android. If it won't work on your Android device, please share more details suggested in our how-to.
Dear Alpert,
As you can see on link below, I post it "everywhere", and this is the first reaction from you after a long time.

By the way, if it's iOS 12 issue, you should optimize the app for iOS 12. Other developers improve their applications and work on fixes already on iOS developer betas. Not so late.
@Tomas,
I can only cover SwiftKey for Android section. But for this time I'll report back to iOS team.
Thank you. Have a nice day.
It's pretty dumb that you can't disable this glorified spell-checker through your phone menus. And why it has root-level access to the phone's operating system.
Dumb, Android, absolutely dumb.

Some times words prediction can be annoying and sometimes they can be useful as well.
