Make Transliteration an option, not a burden
I have seen many threads dealing with this issue since the introduction of the "transliteration feature"
The point of a feature is to make things more efficient in all cases. If there's a situation that a feature can be considered a flaw it should be addressed.
As a lot of people have already mentioned, transliteration is a great tool by itself but when you are using multiple languages there are a lot of situations where it is simply in the way.
Why do you want to force a feature on everyone without paying attention to those who are having a hard time using your keyboard because it's now barely efficient for them? Why not add a simple toggle to let users enable this feature and disable it when they don't need it?
There are a lot of people who are using SwiftKey to write in two, three or more languages at the same time and transliteration feature gets in their way. The point of SwiftKey was to be the gold standard of Android keyboards but not anymore, unless you give people the choice to customize their experience. Let this tool work for them, not force them to change their everyday communication habits just to be compatible with your keyboard.
