mine too. i can't be positive, but I'm assuming the problem started when my phone got a recent update, samsung experience 9.0? anyhow, I've quickly realized just how annoying it is to use my phone without them! argh! it's driving me bonkers! I've tried uninstall & reinstalling & toggling the arrow key option on & off, but nothing has worked.

Same problem here. Sometime during the last week, they disappeared. In the meantime, I've reset the phone (unrelated to swiftkey) and therefore installed it completely fresh and they are still gone.

No Samsung and no phone update for me. Although I tested multiple OS during the weekend. They are just gone for good, which is really annoying. They are one of the killer features of this keyboard. :(

After posting my earlier comment, I realized I was using the Swiftkey Beta version, so I tried switching to the non-beta version, and the arrow keys worked, and continue to work.   So, that's what I did, in case anyone else wants to do the same.

I have installed and tried both beta and normal versions on my Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) using Android 7.0. Both versions have the menu option to turn arrow keys on and off but....

The beta version only works the first time you switch it on, and soon after the arrows don't appear and the iron switches move but do nothing.

In the old version the feature is now only available in the Full layout. They used to work in the Compact layout.

On a cell phone the full layout is the same size as the compact layout so you won't see the difference

Unfortunately, for those of us who use our tablets professionally, we depend upon the compact keyboard with arrows and we need to have that feature restored, please.

They seem to be available when you go to the special symbols view, but I really need them in the main (ABC) view as before.

Same situation for me! I need the arrows in every view.

Same. Bring back the arrows. Nothing like removing something useful.

Font changed, it's all bold now, also arrows disappeared in the compact layout.

Both the beta and standard version have missing arrows in Compact mode. Bring them back! Why take something useful away?!

As a workaround I've uninstalled SwiftKey then installed version 7.0.5.45 from APK Mirror.

The arrow keys are back where they should be on the main (ABC) view.

I've also set the Play store not to automatically update SwiftKey.

Only slight problem is the Play store notifications nagging me to update SwiftKey to the latest version.

Hope this helps anyone who is frustrated as I am that the missing arrow keys have not yet been fixed. 😎👍

Same on an Honor 9 Lite/Android 8.0.0 this week after accepting a Swiftkey update.  The arrow keys toggle doesn't work.  I just removed the update to get back to 7.01.1.23 and the arrow keys are back :-)
