How about adding support for non-breaking space?

How about adding support for non-breaking space?
Or, is it there already?
Hi. Is there a layout or change that allows this? I do not like the button placement - challenging with big fingers and sharing with comma. Thx
Ived apparently added over 8,000 words to my vocabulary and have granted access to my Gmail and SMS. Yet, words this app should know by now continue to fail to get predicted.
Am I the only one complaining about this?
As it stands right now, the only thing keeping SwiftKey on my phone is the arrow keys, which I've yet to find elsewhere.
If I keep swiping in a word and then deleting the suggested word, please don't keep putting in the exact same word every time; obviously I'm trying to type in a different word from that one being suggested or else I wouldn't have deleted it the last three times! Suggest the nearest alternative. Thanks!
Is there a possibilty to deactivate the Number Block on the keyboard while opening special characters?
i activated the number row and don't need a number block.
I just want to see special characters when i click on the most left button.
I just want Swiftkey to do what I type.
Let's say I want to type: "2.5kg"
Do you know how hard it is to get that 2.5 without needing to delete extra space characters?
Same for (Dutch phrase) "Ik slaap 's avonds en 's nachts"
Why do I need extra typing to get this right? Instead the 's characters get stuck to the word left.
Swiftkey should have a "do what client types, don't get creative" mode.
Many greetings from Brussels.
Has anyone had an issue of the left prediction bar showing a correctly spelled word, but with a 6 added to the end of it? It has happened to me for almost a year and I finally got fed up and decided to ask. It started on my previous HTC and has carried over to my S7. I tell it to forget the words often, but it just keeps happening. At least a couple times a day. It's always a "6", never any other number.
I have never and will never use options like this but with one particular website I visit several times a day, it constantly pops up. It used to try to take the hint, with an offer to take me into the settings to shut the option off, but doing that never worked and now, it just constantly shows up whenever I go anywhere where there's a form that has to be filled out. What can I do to get rid of this once and for all?
Hello, how can i quit the suggestion bar of numbers and word? Either quit the numbers on the 123 menu but keep the signs? Thanks!
Is there a way to auto change some words to others, as in can I write 'email' and it correct it to 'me@email.com' kind of thing?
Hi all,
Is there any way to prioritize language as i often type Malaysia instaallah English.
Often i disable english and only enable it When I wanted to type in english.
Thanks.
Hi. In your next release please include ability to change/customize own colours in the purchased themes.
Hi,
I use 2 languages, and it is annoying when after i type a few letters and realize i am not at the language i need, i switch the language and those not yet confirmed type letters on prediction bar are gone missing. Some other keyboards app will keep the unconfirmed typed letters when switching language and come out with new suggestion words rather than clearing them.
Apart form that, I would like to say big THANKS to SwiftKey team who finally responded to my feature request few weeks ago to add Fuzzy Pinyin support (Swiftkey Beta). Could be the implementation stage is already at the corner when i requested, whatever it is i am so happy to have this important feature added. This make SwiftKey to near perfect above the rest.
I want to suggest two certain changes in the japanese keyboard: The first and more important is the autocorrection bar. When you type a lot of time, sometimes the katakana will be gone, it will disappear, and you need to put katakana one by one, and it is very uncomfortable. My suggestion is to put the katakana first in the bar(and, if there is a kanji, after the kanji), because it will be easier to input it.
And the second one is only a visual change. Someone who used other apps and used a japanese keyboard surely saw a 9 buttons keyboard. Some other apps like Go Keyboard, or even the system keyboard for Windows Phone have it, and I love it, because you can put little イ without typing フィ, or something like that.
If this is the wrong place to post it, then, where I can suggest it?
I've been using Swiftkey for as long as I can remember and really like the app. But when I switched to the Oneplus 3T recently I noticed some lag when swiping the "period"-button to make either a questionmark or an exclamation mark. I've tried both the beta app and the regular one and both are the same. Does anyone notice the same thing? It works fine with all my other phones.
It's not a terrible lag, but still noticable and pretty annyoing.
Any tips for me?
I found this link https://vip.swiftkey.com/index.php?/topic/16888-swiftkey-lagging-update-64478-needs-more-info/#comment-87491 but couldn't find any more. That's the exact same issue as I have.
Hey,
Its been a long time since I have been using SwiftKey keyboard. There are numerous personalised predictions which my keyboard gives to me and i love using them, it takes my typing experience awesome. The problem now is that I have just changed my phone and in my new phone in SwiftKey, since I have started using it a day or two, there are a very low number of personalised predictions. So, is there any way by which i can copy predictions from my previous phone to the new one.? Signing in with the same account and backing up from the previous one isn't working out. Please somebody help me. I'm missing my SwiftKey typing!
Currently voice input can only be accessed by long pressing , button.
We want a dedicated voice input on the keyboard somewhere beside word predictions or somewhere else.
How to hide prediction bar on swift key keyboard
On my tablet my favorite keyboard layout is the split (thumb) view, combined with undocked mode. Thats simply perfect, because the space between the to key-halfes is free to see the real content.
The Problem is, that it always switches back to docked mode when i move it to near to the bottom.
Could we have a permanent undocked mode? Or at least make the empty space of the docked split-view transparent?
Hello! I don't know what I did but now I don't have the automatic space between words... What can I do? Please help
SwiftKey is the best. The only thing I wish I could change was the voice dictation button placement. On big phones it is hard to get to. Give me the option to place on right side if screen (like gboard).
Hello, dear developers! The system of memorizing frequently entered words, which should offer the same words the next time, does not work correctly. Because it stores in the dictionary not only words but also numbers. I often work with a calculator, where I need to calculate a lot of numbers. And when I need to write a message to someone, among the suggested words shows the same numbers, instead of words. This creates inconvenience. And it seems to me that the volume of the dictionary is very limited and the numbers will replace the words in the base of the keyboard and fill with numbers. Please correct it. Translated by Google
If I type a word that starts with a capital letter, followed by another word that starts with a capital letter, SwiftKey uncapitalises the first word! I have auto-correct and auto-capitalise turned off, but it doesn't seem to make any difference!
It's incredibly annoying! How do I stop it from doing this?
Hi,
I was wondering if there was anyway to switch the "," button with the "." button? Also is there a way I could change the default "." button to be a "?"
I've run into a particularly annoying bug.
Let's say I have already:
One two three
And I select (highlight) three:
One two three
And then, with "three" still selected, I swipe the word "seven":
One two seven
The word is now correct but the word in the middle of the prediction panel is still "three". If I press space or type any other character it miscorrects "seven" back to "three":
One two three
This is particularly noticeable in Chrome. When I tap the URL bar while already on a page, whatever the current URL is will be pre-selected for me. So let's say I want to search for "happy cats". If I swipe "happy", I get "happy" but the middle suggestion is "I". So if I swipe or type "cats" next, it becomes: "I cats". In the past week I have run into this SO many times as it hijacks my attempts to Google in Chrome.
Hello!
Since about two months ago, I keep missing the spacebar with my right thumb and hitting. The full stop key instead. <- producing odd-looking sentences like that.
It happens probably fifty times a day. That's a lot of back-spacing! It's so much that I started to wonder why SwiftKey doesn't collect and analyse telemetry on multiple backspacing to identify what errors are repeatedly occurring.
On my phone, the space and letter keys are a very slightly lighter grey than the keyboard background, but the function keys like enter, backspace, full stop are not differentiated. Theres about 0.5cm padding on the left of the full stop key before the spacebar. I think that's why I keep hitting it instead. Could this be fixed?
Thanks so much,
Daniel
Hi
A skin that changes color on what app you are in, would be nice!
option to set a bar with shortcut text or symbols or emojis above the suggestions like in chrooma
