Agree, same issue. This has been an issue since the first QHD screens on Samsung years ago. They patch it, it breaks, repeats. No idea why this is so hard to fix perminantly

I had the SAME problem with the SAME resolution phone last year, the Note8, screen resolution on both is WQHD+, and the smallest size is still absolutely gigantic.... Please fix, I'm not going to decrease my resolution (and neither are manufacturers going forward!) just to use your keyboard!

Edited OP, I contacted support and confirm what Alex said, we should expect an update for the stable version soon since it's been fixed on beta.

Reboot after any resolution change. Most apps need this..

Reboot is not a solution to a fault in this app, the beta fixes it and now we're just waiting on an official version to be released.

I have to reboot because at least half the apps I use are too large or too small after any resolution change.

I wouldn't call it an app fault, resolution changes with high DPI snuck up on them.

The difference is that a reboot does not fix the issue with SwiftKey.  And I'm not trying to start a war or disparage the devs (I'm sure they work hard), but I'm not sure how this isn't an app issue.  This has been an issue for years.  This didn't just happen yesterday.  The displays on many Android flagships have had high PPI for a long time now, and it seems that each time a new phone is released or a new update is released to a phone with a QHD screen that SwiftKey looks giant again.

I'm sure there is some good reason for it, but from an end-user standpoint, it's a frustrating experience.  I'm smart enough to change my resolution or change my keyboard, but someone like my parents simply aren't going to use SwiftKey if it take up 3/4th of their screen randomly.  I wish they could get this ironed out for good.

I have a Note 8 and both Gboard and SwiftKey get huge or small when changing resolutions. After rebooting they don't ever change again. I never turn off WQHD

Snuck up on them, Lance???  Did you read my first comment?  The Note9 has the SAME resolution as the Note8, and this is the SAME problem they had last year.  WQHD+ is NOT a new resolution by any means.  This is 100% a problem with the app and I can't imagine why you or the support representative think a REBOOT is going to solve this.  Oh, you don't even have a Note9, nevermind, your issue got fixed a year ago, so thanks for cluttering up this discussion on something you don't know anything about.....
