    Hello,

We're sorry to hear about the trouble and we have passed all feedback onto our development team.

We have since removed the new speech panel design from our beta.

Any questions, please let us know via https://aka.ms/sk-support. Thank you.

I have the same problem and it is making me furious. It is so frustrating to speak a paragraph and then realize that only the first sentence was recorded.

Yes, in this same update it also has no way I can find to keep cusses when they are dictated. They keep getting ******** out and it is extremely annoying.

Yes, the latest voice to text is very bad. And it is worse at deciphering words now

*EDIT* within a couple weeks of my comment they reverted the beta back to the Google voice detection API. Thank you for doing so SwiftKey team!

Let me be clear here though, I have no problem with you guys adding in your own voice detection to the app, just don't make it mandatory, allow us to use either yours or Google's

Voice typing is now so useless that I've had to switch to using Gboard as my primary keyboard. The instant timeout as soon as Swiftkey voice typing stops hearing audio means you can never pause, take a breath, or have a thought. It also makes punctuation a chore. Switfkey voice typing also features egregiously poor recognition results (makes some insane recognition mistakes) and the inability to make easy corrections to those mistakes makes voice recognition nearly worthless now. I depend on voice typing enough that, after over a decade, I have been forced to abandon Swiftkey's use completely so I can have Google's voice typing back.

haven't heard anything from SwiftKey here or after a scathing review on the Play Store. The sort of good news about that is I've discovered how great GBoard is and how flawless the voice dictation and voice recognition on that application are. I was a huge fan of SwiftKey for a very long time, but the horrific update and two subsequent updates with no improvement to the problems and the complete lack of silence when it comes to support may have driven me away from SwiftKey for good.

I noticed the same issue starting with that update.

In an effort to move to the Microsoft ecosystem it appears as though the SwiftKey beta application now incorporates Cortana dictation (notice the mic button logo and theme change).

In addition to the issues with timeout, I'm now seeing an additional issue that was resolved in a version of SwiftKey prior to the Microsoft buy out. If you stop speaking and then start pushing the backspace button it will actually populate, twice, your most recent dictated text.

Finally when using the voice command: "new paragraph," in additon to a new line and carriage return, the Cortana voice integration also indents the first line of text. This works against the widely used and integrated Google Voice Recognition system.

This appeared to be an issue with the Google dictstion integration in SwiftKey in the earlier version and since it's resurfacing with a new voice integration my suggestion would be that development go back and look at how that issue with the Google dictstion integration into SwiftKey was previously resolved.

I have switched to the standard non beta version of SwiftKey.

When trying to edit my previous post I accidentally clicked submit because this field is not designed to use from a mobile device.

Since Google voice dictation is no longer integrated with SwiftKey beta this also means that when Cortana dictation incorrectly and puts a word or phrase you can no longer click on a word and select a list of suggested alternatives.

the most recent voice to text is exceptionally terrible. Also, it is more terrible at decoding words now

I had to switch back to my old Samsung keyboard with the Google typing because of the voice to text typing being so bad with mine. My SwiftKey would completely stop as soon as I hit the button to start dictating; it wouldn't ever even start!

Another long time user here to voice their frustration over SwiftKey Voice Dictation...
Used to love SwiftKey, having used it for years and even purchased the "Pro" version back when that was a thing. Recently though, voice dictation is unusable. It will either stop halfway through your sentence, lags severely, is inaccurate, or just doesn't work.
If I switch to Gboard or Samsung Keyboard, dictation works fine, so it's definitely a SwiftKey issue. Submitted a support ticket, but over a week has gone by with zero response. Looks like the sun has set on this once great keyboard. Really hoping they get this fixed, but don't have much faith at this point. Begrudgingly using Gboard now.

I don't buy this explanation from the Support Agent:
"Your Microsoft SwiftKey Keyboard utilizes Google Voice technology to power this feature, so unfortunately we have little control over this."

If this were true, then why do the Samsung and GBoard (Google) Keyboards, which also use Google Voice Tech for Voice to Text, have no issues at all.  The poor performance related to dictation and voice to text is only represented when using SwiftKey.
