SwiftKey seems to have decided that this feature will never be implemented. As Brandon suggested, I did submit a feature request (296875) only to have SwiftKey delete it the following day.

I also submitted this as a feature request. They sent me a "thank you for your suggestion" email and then deleted it the next day. Amazing respect for their users...
